Good location, great breakfast
Chris Ion 03/11/2015 13:59The hosts are wonderful people, and did their best to make us comfortable. I don't know if there was a booking problem, but we were given a very small single room on arrival in which 2 single beds took up most of the floor space, leaving little room for luggage. The next day we were moved to a great room with private facilities. Two nights later we were moved again to what I think was the room I originally booked. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay.
my review
FaisalImranon 30/07/2015 22:122 adults and 2 toddlers stayed for 7 nights. Lovely clean place, delicious breakfast and well served by buses outside the property that take 15 minutes to the centre of town! The area has a local market and supermarket as well as restaurants. Highly recommended and we will stay again no questions.
Hospitable, Italian and Great Location
Faye Kon 30/05/2015 10:22We had a nice stay in the room with private bathroom. Beds were good, clean towels everyday, and great breakfast. It is a family run B&B, very nice people. English is not that great, but we could cope! I loved it, it made me feel I was really in Italy.
Location is great! Walking distance from some of the main attractions, otherwise Metro station is nearby (5min walk).
We had a lovely stay and would recommend it definitely!
Cute, welcoming and warm :)
Mellesolon 30/11/2014 16:56Chose Roman Walls for a weekend stay while traveling through Italy. Good location - close to San Giovanna subway (and they are building a new C line which will be even closer!) While we could have stayed somewhere more "in the thick" of things but it is extremely easy to get around Rome via subway - this way we saved money on lodging. Roman Walls itself was very cute. We stayed in two of the rooms in this apartment. There was another couple but we never saw them. The bathroom is shared but very clean. The owners, Giovanni and his wife were very nice and friendly. You will have to communicate in advance so they know when you will arrive and can meet you to let you into the apartment. The wife comes in the morning to make you a breakfast of coffee and some pastries and breads. Perfectly fine place to crash while taking in Rome. Thank you to Giovanni and his family! The only thing you should really be aware of is that there is no wifi. We used our hotspot but wifi would have been great!
Great place to stay!!
Anna Son 19/10/2014 22:34We had such a great time in this family run lovely B&B! - great breakfast, clean, comfy beds and above all the nice family who runs the place are just an amazing people that made us feel at home. B&B has a great location. It is close to metro station and bus stop is just in front of the entrance to Roman Walls. To reach heart of the city center you can also take a walk which is not long and with main things to see. To eat something tasty you don't have to go far away. At the next street is very good pizzeria Al Grottino and other places. During the week there is a local market opened in the neighborhood. You can find there fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, meat, flowers, clothes, sweets , wine etc.
I'd definitely recommend it for a stop in Rome! Staying at Roman Walls was a great experience!
For few days we had a feeling that we were a part of Italian family. A place to be back in the future! Thank you very much! Anna
