Emily Bon 29/03/2017 16:44Bathroom smelled like mold, and main staircase smelled pretty badly of trash and urine. The room itself was quite clean. The sheets were a little itchy (likely laundered with powerful chemicals), but that way, I knew they were clean.
Location is ideal for early departures from Termini, but doesn't do much for you otherwise (whole neighborhood is a tourist trap with many pickpockets).

sidewinder0512on 21/09/2016 17:48Stayed here for 3 days. Had a hard time finding it's location. Far from Main Metro Station. For all the places I've stayed as a backpacker this one if I different. Maybe because the place is a bit old and need some improvements thought the owner is very kind and accommodating. Budget Hostel.

lolss2015on 20/08/2015 17:26We stayed for three nights and the men working were sweet and kind through all of our stay. They kept checking we had everything and helped us out with buses and places to go. Made our stay so much fun

Lifeinabag92on 02/07/2015 13:10This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed in. We had booked an en suite room. Stayed 3 nights here. First, it took us 40 minutes to look for this place because there were no markings and directions pointing to the hotel. Then we entered and the elevator was not working ! One man helped carry our luggage upstairs to the hostel. The woman at the reception (ALSA) was extremely RUDE ! and told us that the bathroom had a leak and so they couldn't give us a room and that we needed to shift to another place. We had booked and paid for the booking in advance!. We were shocked at how rude and impolite they were and then they discussed among themselves and had a heated argument. Seems like one of the staff members told her off. Finally they gave us a room ( Why couldn't they do so earlier !? )
The room was pathetic and old ! It seemed the sheets weren't fresh. We thought of moving out but everything else was booked. The lady was rude at all times and would not even greet us. She would make strange faces when we talked to her, making us feel very unwelcome. The area around is NOT NICE. Its right opposite the central train station (which is the ONLY plus point) but at night its not safe. The breakfast was awful ! One day there was no breakfast (which is kept in the room the night before) and when we asked her she said sorry the shops were closed and strangely after a while she came with the breakfast basket and rudely knocked on the door and stuffed it into our hands!! We were left shocked at her behaviour.
I would never recommend this place to anyone ! It really spoilt our time in Rome, which is a beautiful city.
Please do not stay here !
