Wonderful visit - impressively clean!

Visited Romantik Hotel in Parsberg Germany for 4 nights. It's a fabulous hotel! It has the uber clean rooms and floors, with an amazing on-site restaurant. The free breakfast is amazing and quite the spread. Breads, eggs, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, fresh juices, oats, jams, coffees, etc. The beds are comfy and fairly quiet. Shower head strong and heated floors in bathroom.
A few of their staff stood out and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They do their best to comprehend English and all of them know enough to direct you to what you need. Regensburg is only a 45 minute drive and particularly historic / very old architecture etc. Danke sehr!! Johanna, Natalia, and Michael for excellent service. Cheers :)

Visit Aborted by Hotel: Horrendous Behaviour

I can say nothing but that the Management of the Hotel is terrible. I had a confirmed booking for the Hotel Jan 30 to Feb 1st, 2017. Took a flight out of Delhi Jan 30th early morning which was to reach Munich early 30th, and we were to drive to Parsberg. Etihad missed our connection, and made us wait 19 hours in Abu Dhabi, with the result that we reached Munich 31st (Jan) morning. I wrote to the Hotel about this delay from Abu Dhabi, and they confirmed that everything would be okay. I received a reply from them 31st morning that our bookings were okay. I had informed them that we would reach by 1430 hrs, which we did. When we went to check in, the lady at the counter told us blandly "Oh! but we've cancelled your reservation". When and why, No rational answer. Then she said that they had sent me an e mail. I checked, the e mail was sent at 1247 hours while I was on the way to the Hotel and could not check as I was driving. No real apology, NOTHING When hotels have your credit card authorisation and you do not turn up, they charge for one day, but they wait at least till 6 p.m. Here they were informed, and they cancelled at 1247 hours despite getting the information that we were on the way. We will NEVER stay there now, even if rooms were offered free, and we will spread the word to everyone how nauseating their behaviour was.

Upgrading is worth it if you stay 2+ nights

I went here recently on a business trip. As I had no plans for the evenings and no private vehicle at my disposal, I decided to upgrade to a package deal last minute. Despite my making changes to my booking arrangements only 30-36 hours before my arrival, the staff were very accommodating and flexible. I would recommend thus accommodation in a heartbeat.

I've stayed at the Hirschen on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. The team at the Hirschen is always kind and accommodating and the restaurant is one of the best in the region. I look forward to returning in the near future!

I was in Parsberg for business and stayed at the Romantik on the advice of my local contact..and what a great suggestion it was! I had a lovely room, beautifully decorated with a reindeer motif, and a nice private balcony on which to enjoy my morning coffee. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend this to others, and if I'm every back in the area, I will definitely choose it again.
