Nice hotel but room tiny and basic
Imranfaridon 01/06/2017 23:36This hotel is fairly basic, got a single bed. Room was tiny bathroom was tiny all in all felt very cramped. Internet was good and reliable. For the money paid not sure it represents value for money. Views are breathtaking so if that's what you want and are not worried about the quality of room then this hotel is perfect
Great Location
sjgeeon 01/06/2017 10:18Stayed for 2 nights in a single room. The room was located at the side of the hotel so a partial view of the lake. The room was small but cozy. It was air conditioned (a bit noisy) but contained everything i needed. The room is a bit tried looking and I had to fix the aerial to make the TV work, but i actually had a really good nights sleep both nights.
Ate dinner one night in the hotel restaurant situated to the side of the hotel, opposite the entrance . Food was lovely but expensive. The service was a little slow and our particular waiter acted as though we were an inconvenience sometimes! But a really nice atmosphere.
Breakfast was served in the main hotel restaurant in front of reception. The food was nice but a small selection. But it was lovely eating breakfast on the veranda with the lake opposite. The local birds were also very friendly, often hopping on the table!

Douglas Hon 23/05/2017 15:15First visit to Morges in early summer/spring, views over Lake Geneva stunning particularly enjoyed with a drink in the small outside bar/terrace area.
Food also of a high standard in both the bar area and restaurant but expensive.
Obvious place to stay
Bezion 19/05/2017 10:09Being next to the lake makes this the obvious place to stay in Morges. It's surprising quiet by the lake with very little traffic along the front.
My room was nice, maybe a little tired, and was missing the little things that make a difference like USB ports for charging devices.
The WiFi is free but has a overly complicated way of signing in. It sends you a text message which is fine for a mobile or iPad but I wasn't sure how this would work with a Kindle.
I just had breakfast at the hotel and it was fine. It wasn't the biggest choice in the world but it was fine and the cheese was excellent.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Not what it used to be ....
Cecile9064on 08/04/2017 18:47We used to love this place: food is now ok, service average, we used to feel welcome, now it is a regular place with no flair. The last asset: the mont blanc view and the sunny terrace on the lake.......
