A House of contradictions!
Rex Son 25/09/2016 19:31One in the years come but quite charming hotel. The rooms are clean and you feel good. The front desk staff is friendly and eager to do all things. The kitchen, however, is atrocious and to undercut well as the breakfast buffet hardly. Beu our visit seemed the waiter was completely overwhelmed and we waited ages to foods that do not deserve the name. Too bad - the house itself is great as fresh air must be pure!
Our home in Genoa... but still with bad internet 😕
CharbelKon 16/09/2016 04:34We went back to this place after a year. The nice people, the peace, and the authenticity were still there. Just the way we liked them.
But the bad internet alibi story their IT people have been apparently feeding them for a long time, of their walls and doors being thick. That was still there too. Although if you stand just under the Internet router in the hallway, it won't connect you. Same as last year.
So we burned through 200 euros worth of 4G SIM cards during our stay. That's without doing everything we wanted to do. Otherwise we would've needed double.
Otherwise, in all fairness, these people will go to lengths to get you what you need. While Italian service providers are far from being like that.
They will absolutely make sure you get treated the best way possible. And they have a good chef.
I hope that next time we come to what we now call our home in Genoa, the Internet issue will be fixed once and for all.

Very nice and romantic atmosphere , nice park around the villa with direct gang to the promenade of Nervi
The 17 rooms are really nice and comfortable and the restaurant has a good choice of regional Liguria food.
Lovely building
kezza77on 15/08/2016 22:17Such a beautiful building, but the hotel is so understaffed. The staff they do have are lovely but there are not enough of them. The room was very comfortable, the restaurant waiter was lovely and reception staff very helpful. Just a whiff of Faulty Towers. Such a shame as the hotel has great potential.
Perfect place for a honeymoon
DMY1981on 07/08/2016 14:52We enjoyed our honeymoon at the Hotel Villa Pagoda and it was everything we could have wanted. Brilliant location in Nervi, lovely staff and we enjoyed perhaps the best meal of our lives in the restaurant. The hotel pool and gardens are beautifully relaxing and the little gate leading to the promenade and the sea beyond was the icing on the cake. Thank you!
