Stayed at the Rometta for 1 night in May, the manager was friendly though did not speak good English, however this is not a touristy hotel and would not expect them too, plus gives you a chance to practice your Italian!
We enjoyed our stay, the room was basic but comfortable. Breakfast was fine, the usual bread rolls, pastries, boiled eggs & cold meats. The small hotel is situated on a quiet road with parking outside, not the most picturesque street but a short walk to the lovely walled town of Citadella. There is also a co-op supermarket just up the street.
If you are looking for somewhere with good value and parking to visit the lovely town of Citadella we would recommend to give this hotel a try.
