Enjoyed two weeks in August at this lovely hotel, with two youngest sons
Hugh Bon 31/08/2017 10:20The hotel is in the best location on the west coast positioned by a small beach. Sunsets amazing, hired quad bike, then car and even a boat to explore nearby coves and beaches. Easy to drive into Corfu town. Sun sets viewed from hotel were stunning. The hotel was clean and tidy, big swimming pool with pool bar. We enjoyed inclusive breakfast and evening meals, which were to the highest standard, but easy to put on weight. Most amazing aspect of this hotel is the service provided by the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful, they felt like close family and we were sorry to say goodbye. Thonas the head of the restaurant team was an absolute star too.

Beautiful aspect
Stunning sunsets over the beach
Taverna Nausica was fantastic with greek dancing and was a 5 min walk away.
Nice big pool by the bar, 2 pool tables, a table tennis table and a mini-football field which were nice for the kids.
Lovely thick towels in room.
OK Points
Breakfast buffet was adequate, though the coffee machine was very ordinary. Breakfast closed at 10am and any food remaining was swiftly taken away.
Dinner was a buffet but nothing special. We much preferred the lively atmosphere down the road at the Taverna Nausica.
Problems
When we arrived we were given a Junior Suite by mistake instead of the Grand Suite. This room was half the size. We were moved the next day and were offered a free night to compensate. This didn't eventuate but we were given a free meal.
We asked for a bath plug on four occasions so we could enjoy the spa in the room but this didn't eventuate either.
The kitchenette was boarded over so we couldn't use it and the explanation for this was strange. We were told that it was against regulations and that no food was allowed in our apartment. There were no plates, cutlery, glasses or even a kettle for tea & coffee, yet there was a fridge.
The bedding was not great with sheets not big enough to tuck in. No fitted sheets used. One day, housekeeping even used a single sheet on our queen bed which was most uncomfortable.
There were no laundry facilities and we were told that such facilities were too dangerous. The price for washing was outrageous with 1 t-shirt costing 10 EUR. We did 2 loads at a self-service laundry in Corfu Town for 6 EUR after being told I would find that everywhere was the same price as our hotel.
Overall, the resort looked like it probably used to be grand and although spacious, was quite run down. Mostly the service was far from satisfactory and I wouldn't recommend this resort.
good hotel, nice bar, very goo cocktails
Rebecca Son 23/06/2017 17:03Good hotel. We had a nice all inclusive holiday with delicious cocktails. The staff is friendly and the barkeeper made perfect work. We will visit again because the nice bar and the cocktails what we like.
Average all day
thomasaburnson 15/06/2017 21:40The hotel itself is quite nice. The view over the bay is fantastic. The food is standard but there is something for everyone and no one should really complain. The wine however is terrible. At the bar they have a very bad habit of serving drinks in plastic containers.Unless you are not all-inclusive and haven't paid up front then you get a glass. Room cleaning is adequate. 🍀
