Uncomfortable, dirty and BAD manners.
AlejandroJose30on 19/05/2017 19:19My experience was not as I expected, room where dirty and with rest of food and unpleasant bathroom.
Corridors full of young people screaming up and down.
To end my feedback, breakfast was not good quality at all, taking in consideration the fantastic food you can get around.
And the worst, the BAD manners of the director when I was telling my humble experience in his hotel.
I have to say employers where acceptable.
No recommended hotel in Montanejos, look for any others around.
Great hotel right on the river!
Monique Gon 19/05/2017 08:49We stayed one night here and had we had lore time we certainly would have stayed at least one more. Very clean hotel - great staff in the restuarant and at the reception. Ask for a room facing the river. From the river walk left one kilometer to the hot springs. It's an easy walk with lots of benches along the way to rest if needed or just absorb the scenery. You can also get a half pension rate which includes one meal (lunch or dinner) and breakfast the following day. Free parking at the back of the hotel. Highly recommend it if you are in Montenejos.
Great value and services
Joa Bon 14/04/2015 22:24We picked this hotel searching by foot after arriving in Montanejos and were extremely satisfied. It was significantly less then a nearby hotel and room prices included access to very pleasant sauna and swimming pool while the other one wanted additional 15 euros per person. For 5 euros more it included a worthwhile delicious breakfast and was perfect for setting the mood for exploring the many hiking trails and adventurous right next to the hotel. Within an hour of unpacking we decided to stay an extra night. And the bar offers a very tasty local craft beer!
Nice hotel, shame about the food
Richard Bon 22/03/2014 08:29In terms of its location, this hotel is ideally situated for both the town's thermal springs or for walking holidays, which is why we chose this hotel. There are many spectacular walking routes around the area which are easily accessible on foot.
The hotel is ideally situated for what you do when you are there, getting there however is not easy without a car, although it is not impossible.
For a three star hotel, the Rosaleda is reasonably well-equipped although the swimming pool is not as big as it looks in the hotel's own publicity.
The rooms are well-furnished, clean and ours had a lovely view of the river. There was a reasonably priced minibar and a safe. The complimentary toiletries were somewhat sparse and unfortunately, the towels were not particularly good quality.
The main thing that lets this hotel down is the food. Both in terms of variety and quality, the culinary fare is poor. That said, it is the same quality of a typical 'menu del día' in an average Spanish bar.
The staff were very warm and friendly. The checking-in and checking-out were very efficient. The waiters and bar staff were equally efficient and polite.
We paid 106€ per night for two people for half board. Given that this is a three star hotel and the food is not excellent, the value for money is not great.
If you are not looking for haute cuisine but are looking for a medium quality hotel in one of the most beautiful areas of inland Spain, the Rosaleda is probably a good option.
Day visit only but great service
y0rkshireh0lidaygirlon 28/08/2013 21:52Stopped in the pouring rain by chance for a drink & lunch . Very friendly & helpful & great value. Free wifi a plus! In this part if Spain . Very little English spoken & no other English visitors there, off the general tourist trail so perfect !! Ha. Shame the weather was poor but the facilities & location are perfect . Well worth the drive . Will visit again for sure.
