keithdavies48on 28/08/2017 15:59Our second summer stay at the Hotel Rose The. What a pleasure. Made extremely welcome again by Sandrine, Julie and the staff. Very comfortable, fresh and clean room with balcony looking on to the sea - which is just across the boulevard. Great breakfast available all morning. Cheerful bar downstairs with terrasse. Essential and secure parking within the premises. We've already booked for next year. David Davies
An Oasis away from the shipyard
John Ron 07/07/2017 09:37I have stayed at the Rose for several months during the last year. It is a mid sized hotel on the sea front and is very friendly and comfortable. The rooms are a little quirky in their decor but this adds to the charm of the hotel. The bar is the best in La Ciotat and can get quite lively. I preferred the rooms with a view of the sea, the spa rooms are excellent and the rooms with a balcony on the 2nd floor are good. There is wifi throughout the hotel but it is better in some rooms than in others, room 3 on the first floor and room 12 on the second floor seem to have the best reception. Staff are very friendly and helpful and I must thank Kim, Gigi, Giselle, James, Baloo and Sandrine the manager for making my stays there during the last year very enjoyable.

We didn't try the Restaurant , but the bar is nice at evening . Very good location

Quiet at night

Although the building it is in is a block away from the water there is nothing blocking the view of the sea from your balcony. The apartment was very modern and clean. The beds were comfortable and because the study has a murphy bed it actually seems like a three bedroom. Very spacious and the staff was very personable. The breakfast was self serve with a lot of good things to offer and delicious.
Nice popular hotel
PhilAndDebson 04/09/2016 21:29We booked a premium room for our wedding anniversary. Despite being the end of season the place was busy and obviously popular. The room was small but very well appointed with a lovely bathroom with shower, and a view diagonally out to the sea. Very comfortable, the bar buzzes in the evening but didn't disturb us. Breakfast is super, a good buffet with unlimited coffee for 10€,well worth it. Very close to the beach - I wish there was an outside tap/shower to rinse the sand off one's feet before entering. Recommended.
