From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Dave and Freda couldn't do enough for you. Lovely big bedroom and bathroom you wouldn't want for anything. Breakfast that would keep you going all day plus Freda's yummy fruit compote and choice of homemade fruit dishes to choose from. Only 10 minute walk into Whitby. Thank you for a lovely stay. Just got back from the best b&b in Whitby
We went from 18oct To 21 Oct
When we got there Dave welcomed us at the door with with the parking zone ticket
Then when we got in Dave took us up to room 1 the room was amazing it had everything you could need it had a fridge with fresh milk in it
It had every hot drink you could wish for the bathroom was big it had a shower & bath and again everything you could need
It was so clean and very tidy
Then then we went down and had scones with a cup of tea then Freda told us she would put cake in our room 1st day it was carrot cake then next it would be tiramisu
When we went down for our breakfast Freda fruit compots and fruits were fantastic then we had dave Full English breakfast and again it was Fantastic so full after
You so have a good night sleep there then next day breakfast again compots fruit but this time we had salmon and scammed eggs on toast again amazing
Dave and Freda must be the best b&b owners in Whitby They make you so welcome
We will be going back as soon as we can

It was our first stay at Rosewood, but certainly won't be the last. We were welcomed with tea and scones on arrival. From then on, we were treated as old friends. Freda and Dave couldn't do enough for us, everywhere was spotless and the rooms are home from home. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Whitby.

Just can't recall how many times we have stayed at Rosewood, must be for eight or nine years now, had a couple of nights there this last weekend whilst attending the Whitby Gospel Music late summer special, and on this and every occasion in the past it was excellent. Freda and David are such brilliant hosts they can't do enough for their guests, nothing is too much trouble. Scones and tea on arrival, cake in the room fridge late afternoon, breakfasts are amazing - fruits, compotes, yogurt, selection of cereals, full English, you name it and David will cook it, you certainly won't go hungry at Rosewood. The large rooms are excellent, lovely comfortable beds, huge bathroom with bath and shower and such a selection of toiletries you are spoilt for choice. There is nothing we could fault with Rosewood. If I could give it 20 stars I would. Thanks Freda and David, you are the best.

You can't ask for more.
The room is spacious, warm, comfortable and freida and Dave could not do more for you.
Little touches make the place - and the wonderful couple.
The food is great - scones on arrival, chocolate waiting in my room, pieces of fresh cake and a chocolate biscuit. Morning breakfast is plentiful and good quality.
We will be back!
