Always receive great service with a smile. I had the macaroni and asked for blue cheese topping. It tasted amazing. Good size of portion too. Will go back again.
I was on crutches and the staff were very helpful and guided me to the lift.

More like 2 star and not worth £95 a night!

Myself and my partner arrived at our hotel and had a warm welcome from hotel staff, who were quick at checking us in (Room 408). We were given the wifi code and any other information that was necessary for our stay. Once in our room we were quickly disappointed as it looked nothing like the images advertised. Fortunately the room was clean and tidy as well as the bathroom.

We had returned to our room after a meal at 10:30pm to hear music blaring, we could hear each song lyric word for word. The floor in our room was vibrating also. We were unsure where the music was coming from as there is a licensed bar next door to the hotel. I went to reception at around 11pm to express how unhappy I was about the noise and was told by the receptionist that there is a wedding dance on until 1am. The lady had said to me they offer earplugs for customers that struggle with noise or I could have requested a quiet room in the special request box when booking online with booking.com. I asked to move rooms as nobody would be able to sleep through that amount of noise! The lady apologised as there were no rooms available and had let me know someone else had also complained about the music and they had already asked the DJ once before to turn it down, but I was told they'd ask again. At this point the lady could see how unhappy I was and offered to take £15 off the final price (originally £95 including breakfast). It was explained that because I had booked via booking.com, a third party, that is all they would be able to take off as the hotel would be loosing out on the £15 that had been reduced from my price.

The noise unfortunately didn't stop until around 1.30am/2am.

I woke up in the morning excited for breakfast as we were both starving! We were once AGAIN extremely disappointed. The majority of the cooked breakfast was cold. On the menu the hotel have listed breakfast specials, these were not available. The hotel also have listed 'eggs cooked to your liking'. This was also not available. You're safe if you stick to cereal! The best part of breakfast was tea and coffee.

Upon check out I had once again informed the receptionist how unhappy this experience had been for myself and my partner, despite her being unable to do anything. I would definitely not stay at this hotel again, and would most certainly not recommend to any friend or family member.

Room completely unprepared, staff helpful.

Arrived at 2330 for check in after a long business day. Receptionist was shocked when checking details to find that the room I'd booked was not ready for occupation. After a 30 minute wait while the receptionist tried to find help to prepare it for me, room was made ready. Ended up with a single bed with a double, heavyweight duvet and a very thin pillow - there were no others available. 10/10 for effort from the staff to sort out a very bad situation.

However, shower had clearly not been cleaned as there was a thin film of mold on the wall tiles which wiped off by hand.

Hotel itself was ok, reasonable rooms and reasonable breakfast. I wouldn't use it again however as reliability is key when you are likely to arrive late.

just not for me

strange concept I found,
clean and bright in some places, but wouldn't subscribe it to being 4stars, stayed in room 301, was ok nothing exceptional for the 4 stars, been in better 3 stars to be honest,
location fine, stayed in lot of hotels in Aberdeen but just couldn't get a feeling for this place,. we went down to the lounge bar for something to eat, with me being a smoker decided to have a drink and ponder over the menu out on the patio area, the waiter in his wisdom, without asking us, set a table for us in the patio area,, now if you know Aberdeen city centre and the seagulls,,, who on earth would want to eat outside, so we re-arranged our table in side,,, coming back just after midnight we enquired if we could get a drink from the bar and was informed bar closed,,, just not acceptable in my opinion for a 4 star hotel,,, the food we had earlier was ok,,,, but chef if you read this a bit of side salad and bit of coleslaw beside the goujons would be nice,,, fries and 3 chicken strips bit boring... would I use again,,, prob at a push,,,

Lovely

Lovely hotel, right in the merchant district. Standard double room is very good value for money, was the cheapest we could find. Nice quality room, staff friendly. Parking at ncp car park at reduced rate for hotel guests.
