Nice old fashioned hotel. Bit outdated but clean. Nice staff who helped us to pick highlights to see. Such as silvercity with the 39 dips in the road. Sculptures and the living dessert. Broken hill is in the weekend desserted.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was very clean and tidy and we felt like we were at home, The meals in the restaurant were very nice and the continental breakfast was all you could eat.

Very well restored hotel with large comfortable room opening onto a large shared balcony.
Good three nights sleep and although our room was first floor on the corner of the Main Street and covered race weekend we didn’t find noise a problem at all.
Free WiFi worked well.
Didn’t get to try the dining room as unfortunately it was closed Sunday and Monday nights and his was when we were there.
The public bar no longer exists and the dining room bar not open other than during dining room hours.
Communal lounge available but no bar service which to me seems silly as it encourages you to go elsewhere for food and drinks.
Parking on the street was safe and easy to find across from the hotel.
Comfortable stay, good room, noise not a problem would stay again.
Could be made better by opening the bar for guests.

Very nice restored Art Deco Hotel. Front counter staff very friendly and helpful.
The life was not working so had to carry luggage up stairs, not a problem for us but could be for older people. Room very nice, bathroom some what small but adequate.
Bed very comfortable. We did not have breakfast there as thought it a bit pricey for a continental breakfast. Meals in dining room very nice. Service from staff very nice. Price comparable to other restaurants as the food was of high quality. Dining room not open Sunday and Monday. Parking is on the street which can be a disadvantage. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Broken Hill.

The superior rooms are small it is very difficult to make a coffee you have to boil the electric kettle in the bathroom and make the coffee on one of the bedside tables.The fridge is situated in the wardrobe and that only leaves one side of the wardrobe for hanging clothes no drawers only one in the bedside table and that is very small.No space in the bathroom very small area around the basin.To have a coffee or a drink you need to sit on the balcony and this is not always convenient for various reasons.The room was clean except for the ceiling fan and cobwebs and the skirting boards needed a clean The safe in the room did not work as the batteries had not been changed for some time and they had corroded.We cannot comment on the resturant as we did not dine there but it is worth while noting that it is not open on Sunday or Monday nights.The lift is not in service and you need to carry your baggage up two flight of stairs not very convenient for any older guests.
Overall I would say it was a very disappointing experience and for what you receive overpriced compared to other 4 star accommodation were we stayed in during a two week tour of New South Wales.
