It was pleasant my stay at Royal hotel with my family for out holidays trip.
We did enjoy the facilities, the rooms are lovely and we are planning already to be back soon.

We had a double room at a size of a mini single room and a shower cabin so small that you could hardly get in and out of it. Our stay was no pleasure. The breakfast cost Pounds 9 so we found a restaurant accross the street that served English Breakfast for only Pounds 6.

Fab hotel to stay at. Right beside the underground station. The rooms were very good and very clean exactly what you need in a city. Staff of hotel were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Very very friendly. Over all a enjoyable trip

Looked ok at front and reception. Quality Stopped there. Double room was miniscule ... very small wardrobe. One tiny bedside cabinet & No room for dressing table or anywhere to put your personal effects or your case. Case ended up on floor as trip hazard next to bed. Tiny dark shower room .... Shower had black mildew around edges ... had to clean it as best I could before I showered. Staff were ok, but I was astonished that as a resident I could not get a beer in the bar at 10.14 pm on a Sunday, as the bar was closed! ( even though there were 2 staff on reception 10 metres away). If you want sensibly priced room only it might be fine for one night, but cramped. Two nights was one too many for myself & my 9 yr old. Wouldn't revisit

Very good location for what I needed. Staff were very pleasant and seemed to know what they were about. Had a double room which was big enough for me but I think two people in there for any length of time would struggle not to be in each others way. Double Bed was two singles joined but which didn't stay joined. It was sometimes noisy too - staff mainly!
Value for what I paid and I would stay again but maybe just a little more attention to small details needed
