I read some reviews before made a booking on this hotel and I saw some pictures of this hotel that looked unique so I just gave it a try. Unfortunately I encountered problems with my flight, Malindo Air, to Kathmandu which caused me to change my pick up schedule many times and the last one was very urgent because it was unexpected.
So I sent an email to the hotel and their response was pretty fast. I felt sorry for them facing a customer like me who changed schedule many times although it was because of the airlines..

So 2 thumbs up for this hotel! When I came for very late check in, they still greeted me with warm smile!
And they have 24 hours breakfast (this is what they said lol) and in-room dining without extra charge which was really cool because it was not easy to find food around at night and early in the morning.

Amazing staff, great hotel!

Mingma, the manager was absolutely amazing, we spent two nights here before going on a mini-tour of Nepal planned and organized my Mingma. We had an amazing tour guide in Kathmandu, to see the main temples and he spoke perfect English we learned so many interesting things about Nepal. Then she sent us to Pokhara and Chitwan arranged our transportation, hotels and tours. She even took the time out to call me on our travel days to make sure we were doing good and had no problems, she even saved her personal cell number in my phone so I could reach her if anytime I had any issues!!! The ARIA was beautiful, by far the nicest place we stayed in Nepal, the only down side is the Wi-Fi was not as fast as I am used to. The hotel was very clean for Nepal (it was clean of course, just not luxury hotel in America clean ie the used flip-flops in the closet which is oddly common in Nepal) Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating I can not express that enough. The icing on the cake was they held our HUGE packs in storage while we traveled around for 5 days and put them in our room once we returned for our last night in Nepal. This place is great!!! Thank you for everything your did for us :-)

BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!

I just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful staff at Aria Boutique Hotel & Spa! The customer service was exceptional from the moment I made my reservation a week prior to my trip.

I had very little time to plan and had a HUGE list of things to do and see, as well, several questions I needed urgent answers to.

Mingma, if you read this, I wanted to say THANK YOU for everything you did!! From answering all of my questions one week prior to my arrival, along with planning all of my excursions with perfect timing and scheduling.
My 10 days in Nepal were truly UNFORGETTABLE and you made my dreams come true. From visiting an orphanage, flying to Mount Everest, hiking the Himalayas, living with the monks and the list goes on.......ONCE AGAIN...THANK YOU!!!!!

I plan to return to Nepal one day in the future and when I do, without hesitation, I will go back to Aria Boutique Hotel & Spa.

For anyone out there wanting to visit Nepal, where it is spiritual, adventure or just a plain vacation, I highly recommend Aria.

Talk to Mingma along with all of the other wonderful staff there such as Sanjaya, Deekpak and so on....

Much love and till next time!!!

Value wise, it's a steal

We stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. Once before our Everest base camp trek and once upon our return. Our first (and most of our 2nd) visit was incredible. Fast wifi, massive breakfasts that can be ordered at anytime of the day, beautiful/unique rooms, balconies looking over the city, excellent room service and amazing staff. On our second visit the wifi didn't work that well in the rooms, the water temperature in the shower was frustratingly temperamental and the water had a sulfuric smell to it. That being said, I'd definitely stay here again.
