Good enough for a few days (with excellent location)
Olecramon 29/06/2017 03:01We were three in a small room, without fridge or coffee maker. Enough for a good night sleep after driving and walking around. The check-in is in another hotel opposite this one. We used a nearby public parking to park our car. The best is the location, as we just turn left and we are already by the river.

Anne Son 21/05/2017 22:39Shabby and certainly not chic! The reception staff are not welcoming and the rooms are very run down. Dirty toilets, cracked handbasin....grimy looking carpets. I booked 5 rooms for a family weekend and we will certainly not go back. This type of establishment gives Switzerland's hotel industry a bad name.
Good Location, Comfy room
JaneA1990on 04/12/2016 06:11Walked here from the train station - super easy. Room was nice, big, clean and looked over the pool. Only complaint would be the room smelt so bad of smoke!! Good location to walk around and free wifi!
Comfortable stay. Huge rooms. (Put up in Hotel Baseltor)
Gayatri_Netherlandson 28/11/2016 14:19+ The actual hotel Roesli is across the street & we were put up in Hotel Basseltor. Roesli seems to be closed or 'taken over' by Bastion. But no complaints, both hotels are of the same quality.
+ The rooms are huge for the price you pay.
+ Big & well equipped bathrooms.
- No water Kettle in the room.
- The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together. There was a gaping hole in between the 2 matrasses. We could also feel the spring in the matrasses :-(
- Room, Furniture & carpets were a little old.
- No restaurant or breakfast in the hotel
It can't get much better for the price
Ingeborg Hon 13/09/2016 15:12I just stayed there for 1 night as a stopover between France and Italy. Despite arriving much later than announced the guy at the reception was very friendly, helpful and patient.
He waited outside the hotel for us to give us tips where to find a parking space over night and he recommended the nearest restaurants and marking them on a map.
The room was spacious, clean and we did not miss anything.
Check-in and out was quick and efficient. Unfortunately we did not have time for breakfast as we left very early and we also could not enjoy the swimming pool, as we arrived quite late. But I am sure either will be very pleasant to experience.
Just one tip for Lucerne in general: don't try to go to a restaurant for dinner after 9pm .... They all seem to close down after 9.30, which is - I fear - quite normal for the Swiss.
