Dsw1965on 10/04/2017 01:20Stayed here for a couple of days whilst visiting Harrogate. The staff are lovely and are very attentive. Nice size hotel rooms and A great breakfast . We had lovely weather,so that always makes everything seem better, but the conservatory is still nice to sit in, in the morning. My only slightly negative comment would be, the carpets are looking tired and need replacing. It does let the hotel down. Otherwise, I would highly recommend staying here, as much for the location as anything else. I will definitely return for another stay.

Marcus Eon 08/04/2017 23:08North Yorkshire is a good place to go for culture, shopping, eating, and also a good place to go for a good hotel as there are a number of good hotels in the area... but Rudding Park is the best. Not only is the location breathtaking, but also the service, amenities, food and overall ambience. Heartily recommended, and well worth staying here for a couples weekend or a visit with the family.
Fantastic weekend
Steve Mon 07/04/2017 15:51We booked here again for a weekend away to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
On arrival we were shown our room (an upgraded suite, 301) which was, as per usual superb, being a suite it had a separate lounge and 2 bathrooms, very opulent.
My wife had arranged a surprise gathering to celebrate my upcoming 50th too so this led to explain the fantastic free upgrade to a suite as unbeknown to me we'd booked 7 other rooms...
We were greeted in the room with a handwritten anniversary card and a nice bottle on ice, a very nice touch.
We headed to the bar around for drinks where I was greeted by the surprise my wife had arranged.
16 of us later dined in the Clocktower Restaurant that evening, the food was superb, the service was prompt and the whole experience was excellent as per usual.
A great night was had by all (none of our friends had been before), they were all delighted with the hotel, food and staff and have all said they will return which I feel speaks volumes.
Rudding Park is a fantastic place, well kept and well placed but the staff really make this place. They are attentive, polite and uber efficient. I can't praise them highly
enough.
Another fantastic visit and we will be back to sample the new Spa etc. that opens next month.

Karen Con 05/04/2017 20:27We went to stay for a night at Rudding (for the second time) for our Anniversary with our kids. I was really surprised with everything they prepared for us. They provided us a two adjoining room which originally I only asked for additional bed. The room/s are very spacious and clean and well decorated.I was impressed by all the staff within the hotel. SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Can't ask for anything more.
Looking forward for another stay in your hotel.

Rooby1984on 05/04/2017 18:13I was taken here for my birthday last year for two nights. From start to finish this place blew our minds.
We arrived on a rainy afternoon and were looking for a car parking space. We finally found one and proceeded to unload our luggage when all of a sudden a man appeared from the hotel with a brolly to escort us into the hotel.
After entering the hotel we were welcomed by the lovely receptionist and other members of staff. They promptly took us and our luggage to our room.
We were staying in the rear of the hotel overlooking a garden area.
The room was absolutely huge. There is a huge bed, a sofa, table and a desk and a large wingback chair. The heating and lights were on a touch screen monitor. Very hi tech. The bathroom is absolutely huge too. There was a roll top bath and a separate shower. I am sure there was underfloor heating as the tiles were never cold.
There's a selection of tea coffee and a few biscuits in the room.
The decor of the room is modern but had a classic feel having a few older looking pieces such as the old mahogany desk and leather wingback chair. A mix I wouldn't have thought worked but it works very well. The hotel and rooms are comfortable and fit for royalty. Indeed the hotel has hosted a lot of celebrities and royalty.
The hotel offers a turn down service each evening. You also get a little lady bird body massager during your stay. A very cute little memento to remind you of how lovely this place it.
We had an evening meals during our stay so unfortunately I can't advise on any other meals.
We went to the restaurant and were seated in the conservatory area where there is a tree in the middle of it. We had a section of food over the two nights from soups, fish, steaks, cheese cake and lemon tarts. This is the nicest food we have experienced. Compliments to the chefs! Absolutely TREMENDOUS!!!!!
There's plenty of areas to sit and relax. There's a room where there's books to read and you can have a few hours where you can sit and chill out with a book. There is also a swinging bauble chair.
The staff are superb. All welcoming and attentive and they cannot do enough for you.
This hotel deserves top marks and beyond. The reviews say it all. If you're thinking about staying here you will not be disappointed. You'll only feel disappointed when you have to leave to return home.
