Excellent place to stay

We liked everything. We came for two nights and stayed 4. Very comfortable, quiet everything you need, large room, great bathrooms, large outside balconies to sit and relax, great breakfast and best of all the most gracious and helpful host you could hope to meet. The best place we stayed during our month visit to India.

Quiet and hospitable

A very nice homestay, beautifully decorated, very clean and set in lovely gardens. Durgesh is a very hospitable host and is well-supported by his staff in the efficient running of the establishment. Set on Residence Road (where trucks and buses are not allowed), it is also thankfully quiet at night.
Delicious breakfast, with a choice of fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, eggs as well as wonderful Indian specialities and rotis.
Durgesh made very helpful suggestions for dinner and arranged transportation with his local, and reliable tuk-tuk driver.

It is a beautiful villa and very tastefully done. Their outdoor seating area is beautiful and a great place to have breakfast or just to enjoy the weather and peaceful surroundings. House is full of beautiful pieces of wood and the furniture, bathrooms are top class. Host Durugesh is very warm, welcoming and seeing you off as well as being around to take care of your needs. Very responsive to request of any kind.The bonus is their beautifully laid breakfast table waiting for you in the morning. Highly highly recommended!

Rooms and bed can be a little small. Perfect for a couple with a small kid.

This place is so nice. It's like a guest house, wonderful location and a great host, Durgesh. The rooms are a lot nicer than they appear at least on booking.com and everything was just a pleasant surprise. Nice talking to the owner and other guests over breakfast, and Durgesh was extremely helpful when we had some problems with our travel arrangements. It's a perfect place to stay if you ever find yourself in Jodhpur, just great!

A warm welcome awaited me. This time I travelled alone so I could be sure to be happy and safe with Durgesh and his family. As time goes fast in India you have to cram as much in as possible but Durgesh is very helpful if you have any worries with bookings or language problems. When I met him again it was like meeting up with a very dear friend.His family are truly wonderful. I spent time with the kids chatting about school, languages Bollywood stars.His wife is a super cook. I chose to have my evening meals here and was made a wonderful choice of vegetarian food, rotis, paratha and desserts. here I can Be sure that the food is fresh and when travelling this is important as you lose days if you are unwell. All the rooms are comfortable, clean and have all you need. The family and staff live downstairs so are close by but do not interfere. Durgesh is very hospitable, is a travelled man and enjoys having guests. He also treats his staff well and this is a very good sign of a decent man, it makes all the difference if you are a people person. At Rudraneel, You can relax on the beautiful balconies surrounded by mango trees and rose plants and listen to the birds. Whether you stop for a night or a few you will find it enjoyable. It's 10 min drive by rickshaw from the blue city. If you prefer peace and quiet this is ideal. There are many shops a rickshaw drive away and banks. The airport too is a short drive away university faculties nearby for studying. Jodhpur itself is a great place to spend a day if you are travelling onto Jaisalmar or to Pushkar, Udaipur or Jaipur.
