The hotel is under renovation

Two years back they had nice cottages. But to our disappointment they are demolishing those cottages and constructing normal rooms. We went just before the season started hence service quality was below par. Only one restaurant was functional. Best part of course is that it is at a walk-able distance from the water falls

Good Location, Above Average stay

In terms of location, I think this is really good. One could walk upto the main falls any time of the day. But this is actually not a resort but set of guest rooms. Bathroom and toilet quality is much below standard. Breakfast is decent for that kind of location. No wifi in the rooms and one has to come to the lobby . Adequate parking facilities. Decent restaurant. Overall just a budget hotel but not a resort with just about average standards.

Pleasant Stay

The resort is located on the main road of Senkottai to Kuttralam Falls. It is very easy to find.

The resort Manager was so helpful and he is very humble in treating guest. As some expansion progress was happening there is no cottage villas. And there was some construction materials laid over the car parking area. Small dust in air was there. Even though the Resort was maintained in a better way for guest stay. The securities in the entrance always care about us when we park our car.

The deluxe room is spacious and can be shared by three persons comfortably. Bathroom is small. As it was almost a 10 year old property renovation is very much needed in the present rooms.

The Resort people do their best in treating guest. There are some small issues due to expansions which is temporary in nature. Once the renovation and construction are over this could be the best resort in this area.

They have to improve a lot in Restaurant Services. Morning Breakfast is good. Dinner is Average. Lunch - better to avoid Veg Meal. Staff has poor skills in serving. They have to improve a lot in this regard.

The resort has a swimming pool and a small child play area. It's better to take Forest view rooms for enjoying the scenic view of mountains and trees.

From this resort, we can easily access to
1) Tenkasi (Kasi Viswanathar Temple - 5 Kms);
2) Kuttralam Main Falls (Walk-able distance);
3) Papanasam (Temple and Agasthiyar Falls - 35 Kms); and
4) Thenmala Eco Tourism in Kerala (One hour drive from Resort towards Kollam Direction - 36 Kms)

In my final conclusion, The resort is the best place for family weekend in Kuttralam.

Off Season to Courtallam not a great idea

We went during off-season on our way to Kerala, not sure whether that was a mistake. Service was very poor (looks like less people to serve) and food options was very less. Rooms were good.

Looks like you should not visit Courtallam during off season.

Pretty close to the Main Falls (walkable distance).

Surely would be a good hotel to stay during Season, if Quality of Service improves

Neat and clean resort with accessible locations for falls

We have been there at kuttralam for enjoying the week end holidays and stayed with saaral resorts.

The location is good to access near to main falls and towards senkottai road.

Easy to find the location.

Rooms were neat and clean even though off season times

Customer service and support were nice..

We have got good balcony to enjoy the near by forest view...

Worth for money spending with family
