Came to stay only for two days 17th June to 19th June brilliant apartment loads of room comfy beds brilliant air con it was like a freezer the room after coming back from the pool, brilliant host also we got in our room early too always a bonus. Fab pool only problem was that my wife wears glasses and she was wearing her prescription sunglasses in the pool and I was told she couldn't so she had to take them off but then could not see so had to get out then :( she's worn glasses since she was 4 so kind of needs them so the pool wasn't the best for her other than that fab break away and will be back soon

Good apartment, too many pool rules

The apartment is clean and spacious with all of the facilities required for a short stay.

The pool area is ok but has lots of rules such as no picnics, no sunglasses in the pool, only water in plastic bottles etc. They are enforced quite stringently by the authoritarian pool security.

The town is a 15 min walk and is quiet at this time of year.

The best thing about this hotel is location.About 1 hour to Barcelona by car. Perfect for family and children. Many playgrounds around. 2 min to beach but note, there is no sandy beach, only rocky ones.It's hard to communicate in English cus staff doesn't speak this language,you should stay patient. There is no food and drink allowed at the swimming pool what it's ridiculous and not acceptable when outside it's more than 30 degrees.
Many shops around with groceries and souvenirs.There are free buses to water parks (2 min walk).
Inside apartment you will find needed facilities ( not best condition of cutlery and pots ) , washing machine, fridge. No electric kettle.
We enjoyed our stay but definitely because of gorgeous weather and amazing views.

Cheap and cheerful but to many rules at the pool !

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in September. We arrived late, about 11pm and followed the instructions to collect the keys but the reception isn't next to the main apartments entrance therefore it's quite difficult to find your keys. If you are arriving out of hours the reception is before the restaurant next to the carpark, don't do what we did which was a lap around in the dark lugging suitcases !
The apartment is basic but fine, you have everything that you need in there and the shower is good. However the beds are really uncomfortable, so we ended up sleeping on the sofa bed.
The pool area is really nice but there are soooo many rules. Can't have inflatables in the pool, no sunglasses in the pool, no snorkelling gear, not allowed to bring any of your own food or drink into the pool area, the list goes on ... There is no bar to buy a drink so you had to keep going back to your room for a drink, crazy !
The beach is opposite the apartments so you have the best of both worlds. It's close enough that you could keep nipping back to your room to get a nice cold supply of drinks.
The main town of blanes is about a 10 min walk , it's a nice walk with lots of restaurants and a couple bars on the way.
The only other negative thing about the complex is that the keys to the main gates don't work very well. We would try for ages before getting as would many others. We did ask for a new key but was told that they were all the same. New keys or locks would really help as we could be as along as 5min trying to get in.

We stayed at S'Abanell Central Park apartments over a weekend. This was a perfect place for both couples, friends and family. The apartments were spacious, very clean, contained all necessary amenities and had great air conditioning. They are literally a tones through from the beach the views are spectacular. The complex is gated and is very private which is nice when the beach can be so busy. With kids you can relax because they have plenty of space to run and play with out leaving the complex. The over all complex is beautiful with great facilities, an amazing pool, sun loungers and a great grassed area which is so rear for this location. The service we received was excellent and they have top class security so you feel rest assured. We could not rate this place high enough concise ring it's excellent value for money
