Not really far from Hamburg center
CSJaoon 31/10/2016 12:40Still could check in smoothly even arrive around mid-night. Free internet is only available around reception. If you need free internet in the room, it costs 2 Euro for an account. Breakfast costs 11.5 Euro per person.
Excellent value for money and Service
Mikko Eon 15/10/2016 22:20One night for business. Very kind and nice service at the reception as well as the restaurant. Room clean and the overall appearance at this hotel very much the way it should be in most hotels. This place is a definite re-stay next time in the area.
Excellent hotel for business stays
PompeyDeanon 12/09/2016 08:22I have stayed at the Sachsenwald Hotel now many times over the past few years travelling to Reinbek on business and each time this hotel offers a high consistency of service and quality. Rooms are large with good standard of facilities. Breakfast is buffet style with many options, cooked on request, also to a high standard. Dinner menu is quite small but the local, Indian, Italian, Greek restaurants (to name a few) are all within a few minutes walk from this very central location.
Highly recommended.
Well located and situated hotel
Gulliver1703on 23/08/2016 13:53Comfortable and spacious rooms. Really good evening meal and Breakfast. Very well placed as a one night stop as just a short drive off the Autobahn. Also well placed for a longer stay to discover the area.
Cosy stay!
syndromicgirlon 23/08/2016 04:48I booked a single room for 2 nights just 2 weeks ago at Hotel Sachsenwald as I had to attend a friend's wedding in the area and it was such a cosy experience with a spacious room to myself equipped with the necessary travellers' needs. Even though the hotel and rooms were a little outdated, the cosy experience made up for it and it was really quiet as well as my room did not face the main road. Breakfast was decent too with a wide spread, despite being understaffed their service was still good.
Overall a good experience for the price I paid.
