We stayed for one night in this hotel and we had two rooms both rooms were musty had fungus on the walls in the room and bathroom. lot of spit marks on the wall. mosquitoes and insects and that on the wall fan. complaint about the same to the manager and the attitude was really bad initially they disagreed to do anything however when we spoke with the travel agent they showed us another room which was equally dirty the hygiene standards for so bad that we didn't have dinner in the hotel and decided to have bread and butter as it was too late to go out for dinner the location is also too bad close by there is nothing you can't even go out to have dinner a small shop in front of the hotel can serve you basic things like bread butter fruits etc

we stayed at Sai Residency for 3 days....the rooms were clean...staff was v.cooperative n helpful....the view from our room was beautiful..You can enjoy a beautiful view while having your breakfast from the dining hall....

Worst experience we had last year with this people,they behaved very rudely with us,we already filed a complaint in Sikkim tourism, Gangtok..so stay away.we have booked rooms for 3 days,2 days and one day when we return from Lachung,we put half of our luggage in the hotel,but when we return they told us that your room is not booked in this hotel,they shifted us in sub standard hotel,I have copy of complaint that we filed in Gangtok,so take another hotel but not this one.

My booking was in 100 petals last moment my agent updated because of bulk gov bookings my hotel stay is shifted to sai residency.since past 4 days i was in darjeeling,Yuksom ,pelling so my max expectations were broke down as we entered in ciity.very densely populated no value of natural assets these people have and rest my excitement drawn when i halted in hotel. concrete view of valley is visible but sofa in room is in bad shape.horrible condition of bathroom its stinging.in bathroom by default construction water logging is there.though window is there to open but visible for near by residents.highely dis satisfied but we were tired last night and no option was there.food service and quality good in room.suit room they offered no doubt it is specious

We stayed for 3 nights at Gangtok on our forward journey to Lachung with my wife. Our room was highly spacious kept neat and tidy. Food (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) was delicious and tasty and the service was very good. Television facility was there.There was a personal touch in service. Room Service Staff was very gentle and helpful. Owner, Mr. Sen was very helpful and arranged our trip suitably with transport facilities. The hotel is located near the MG Marg which is shopping complex in Gangtok( 20 mins drive in taxi). I would highly recommend any traveler to stay at Hotel Sai Residency.
