Very convient for walks to Caloundra town centre and Kings Beach.
Lovely new bathrooms and comfortable beds. Some beautiful spots to sit out the front under shady trees. We will be back again soon. Paul and Mary-Anne we very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Lovely Spot, good accommodation
Beverly Pon 18/05/2017 05:10We didn't actually stay at Sails Resort, but at The Apartments at Bulcock Beach (associated with the main resort). The accommodation was lovely, very clean and with a partial view of the beach. Close to Caloundra CBD and within walking distance of King's Beach surf club, which served good meals. Overall, a very pleasant week's stay.
Great location
Chris Bon 15/05/2017 11:04We stayed at this resort for 5 nights and location was perfect. We were on the first floor with sea views. Traffic noise was very noticeable until night time and began early morning. Unfortunately when we arrived there was no water and we noticed work being done near the swimming pool. It would have been good if we had been warned of this when checking in. Television was very small for the size of the room with lounge furniture some distance away. It also did not work however the manager arranged for a hire TV by the time we returned from excursion the same day. We found the unit in need of refurbishment with blinds needing replacement being dirty and unappealing. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need for catering for guests.
Lovely spot, great view of the Pumistone Passage
qwiksilvaon 05/04/2017 02:31Only had to walk to everything, didn't need a car, the beach was 3 minutes from the room, hire canoe's etc with in walking distance, shops 5min from room. Caloundra Sunday markets, 5 minutes walk, great atmosphere. Great location. Great management, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The place was very clean and organised.

Marie Bon 02/04/2017 14:02We had a fifth floor apartment for 2 weeks. The views are picture postcard perfect by day, across Pumicestone Passage and Bribie Island to the ocean, and by night as the lights of Caloundra reflect in the water. We were lucky enough to start with a spectacular rising of the full moon over the sea. Kayaks, canoes, jet skies, wind surfers and the local ferry ply the waters at the doorstep and larger vessels are visible as they go to and from Brisbane Port.
The apartments are clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. Our apartment has a private BBQ area/entertainment terrace on the rooftop above us. The pool, gardens and shared areas are well maintained. The excellent managers are easily contacted via the black phone in reception if they are not in the office.
We did not have a car, and did not need one. I bought great coffee each morning from the Coffee Shop just across the road; 2 shopping centres with supermarkets are 5 minutes walk away, as is the Seafood Market. The footpath/bikepath is in front of the property, with interesting shoreline walks in both directions. The bus stop connecting to Landsborough Station and other points on the Sunshine Coast is just around the corner.
