ENG: We sleep at many hotels in Brazil, most of them has similar problems NO ENGLISH SPEAKING people at reception! Even with printed booking.com confirmation in Portuges you have problems, in the begining it was looking that way but fortunetly another women at reception speak a bit english so we were saved :) ... rooms are spacy and beds comfortable. Everything was clean and bathroom was also cool, maybe they can add some ventilator for steam from shower. Wifi was slow . Breakfast was rich and awesome. For booking money its a good choice.
CZ: Spali jsme v Brazílii v mnoha hotelech a většina má stejný problém NIKDO NEMLUVI ANGLICKY! I když máte vytisklé potvrzení v Portugalštině vždy je problém, malém tomu bylo tak i teď , naštěstí druhá recepční trochu anglicky mluvila a domluvili jsme se. Pokoje jsou velké, a čisté. Postele jsou pohodlné a koupelna velka a čistá. Snad jen přidat ventilátor do koupelny aby to tam po sprchování nebylo jako v džungli. Wifi jela šíleně pomalu ale velice bohatá snídaně to zachránila. Pokud na booking.com dostanete dobrou nabídku je to slušné bydlení.
Out dated but good breakfast

Stayed for a single night for business purposes. The rooms were old and run down. I found a pair of panties on the floor when I moved the single bed. Shower head sprayed in every direction but at me. Nice view of the city at night. Breakfast was nice, so I bumped it up to a 3, but otherwise a 2. I'm sure for the money it's ok, but I'd rather pay more and be in something a bit more "international"

Have stayed at this hotel two nights in Jan 2009. Truly, the equipment (A/C, bathrooms, closets, bidet, etc) are very, very outdated. The bathtub is a patchwork of pieces with several coats of paint. Trying to maneuver the bathtub glass enclosure is a risky proposition. It made me think whether an architect ever approved the repair/remodelling
done.
Location is good, central, and the people are nice. But the experience is dramatically inferior to the Internet story presented in their website, and to a 'business class' positioning.
