Nightmare

Alexandros M on 12/08/2016 20:06

The whole experience was a nightmare! Starting from the basics the man who is supposed to welcome us was totally unfriendly and with no sense of hospitality. Our room was colored in black (walls &carpet) and near the train station, which means that every 30 minutes a train passes over and makes the walls creak. There is no soundproofing thus you hear every guest that walks out of your room. As for the cleaninless, I also dont have the best experience... the layer on the bed smells something disgusting like it is never cleaned. The bed was very small for two people. At the end the bathroom was ok but very small. it was almost impossible to use the toilet.... I know it's a 2 star hotel but it definently does not deserve the price of 130 euros for 2 nights!!!!

Good Stop-off Point on the way to the Dordogne

Loobylina on 15/09/2015 16:29

We used the hotel as a stopover on route to and from the Dordogne and it was ideal. We are a family of five and not many of the big chains offer the option of five in one room. Our room had one double bed, a bunk bed and a single and was great. Even though it's a budget hotel it's still clean and is central so you can walk into Blois. It also has a restaurant which provides a good menu at reasonable prices - I would certainly use it again. One point it's worth making is that there is no parking but you can park easily on the road outside the hotel and it's perfectly safe.

Very basic

FreshEire A on 21/06/2015 12:22

Very simple, old fashioned, basic and inexpensive hotel this is best selected by one who intends not to spend much time here.
Bathroom was tiny and badly laid out (oversized sink was an unavoidable obstacle between toilet and doorway) while the shower unit was very small. Shower itself was good. Beds were ok and sheets and towels were clean.
Wi-fi connection was good. Location is also good; next to the rail station and within 5 minutes walk of most attractions.
Fine for a brief overnight but not a vacation.

fine--nothing special

David G on 08/04/2014 20:03

WiFi worked, breakfast was 7 euro extra I believe and was OK, nothing special. The room was bare bones but all the plumbing worked. This hotel is very close to the train station, in fact you can hear the announcement from my room but it didn't bother me. When I discovered I needed to wait another 90 minutes for my train after I had already checked out, they allowed me to stay in the common area to wait--that was very kind of them.

Pay, sleep, go!

Leopin on 24/08/2012 15:08

"Do you have a booking?"
"yes, we do"
"What's your name?"
"Will you have breakfast?"
"no, we won't"
"Here's your bill, you must be out of your room by 12pm"
This is how we were greeted. Then, our room was one of the most depressing room I've ever stayed in. Paint stripping from the walls, 1980's ceiling cover falling off.Tiny molded plastic bathroom reminiscent of cheap motel chains. It definitely looked nothing like the pictures.
Our advice, if you still want to stay in that place: arrive late, leave early - close to the train station..
