A Pilow, A Bed, Space and your convenience

Considering the level of "bustle" of Cardston (just kidding) this hotel's services is acceptable. I stayed here for a couple of nights and I found my room, sheets, beds,Washroom, Towels and other furnitures unexpectedly neat. Wifi was disappointing though.

Keep driving!

No need for elaboration here, just plain: sticky floors, dirty dishes in the kitchenette, TON of dirt and spider webs underneath the beds, smelly pillows and bed linen, TV didn't work. Seemed abandoned

Pubes in the Bathroom

As the title says there was all kinds of Hair (pubes) in the bathroom. This hotel needs a total Reno, not worth the money. I put my night shirt in a bag after just in case. My back was very sore after and I can sleep on anything. We wanted to stay to nights but only booked 1. Boy we were glad. Dirve to Lethbridge if the South Country Inn is full.

Don't drop your kickstand here

Oh where to start.... All the St Mary hotels were sold out so north of the border we went. Cardston was the destination and the first hotel we see is nothing other than the Flamingo. For about 90 CAD we paid for quite an experience. Rotted carpet on steep, slopes stairs complete with a rod iron railing attached to rotting wood led us upstairs to our temporary abode. I opened the door and immediately smashed my finger between the door and the ill placed cabinet behind it. Decor was similar to most cheap motels and hasn't been updated since the 70's sans the tv and the fridge. The beds.. What choices. One was hard as a rock and the other was like sleeping on a ski slope. Be careful when you sit on the toilet...the cabinet is so close you will likely smash your elbow on the paper holder. This was another time when I put the kickstand down for a night that I should've only paid about half what I did.

Oh, but it was quiet.

Stayed here only because everywhere else was booked solid. It was the next closest town to Waterton. The room was quite large and had basic amenities but very dingy. Do not walk on the carpets without shoes or slippers! Everything in there is super old, peeling and cracked. It's good enough for a shower, sleep and change of clothes. The sink and the shower water spray outwards and not down as though they are either corroded or missing a part. The face/hand towels were different shades of white. One was stained brown (ewww). We had brand new white sheets but the pillow cases were discoloured. You need to go the main office to request an iron. Given the choice I would not stay here again. Cardston is a ghost town.
