Disappointing

I'm currently staying at the hotel. The hotel is nice looking, clean, and in a great location. One of the reasons I booked the hotel was because it has AC, but when I entered my room, the AC wasn't working. I called the reception, and the rep said they would have to change my rm because they were doing maintenance, but first they would aide to see confirm a rm was available. But I didn't hear back until two days later o demanded a different. At this point they gave me a rm that was all the way in the corner that is considerably smaller. It has AC though, so at least I'm a little happy.

The second issue arose when I tried paying off my bill. I booked 10 nights for 1500€ and was going to use a VAT form so I don't pay tax. When trying to pay it seems the rate was way higher because I was using a VAT from. I understand rules are rules, but I think they should have informed upon checking in.

The third issue arose when I went upstairs to use their sauna. It wasn't on, so I called the front desk to ask someone turn it on. 30 minutes later it was still not on. 45 minutes later I call back and she said she will call the person again. 1 hour later I went by the reception to tell them about it, and the girl there tells me that it is on and two people are in it (mind you I just walked down from that place and no one was in it).
When I took the elevator to go back up, a girl also entered and she even entered the sauna area, and proceeded to walk to the sauna and turn it on. It just made me mad that the girl as the reception just made something up.

All in all bad service, and unapologetic about it. And mind you this is a rather upscale hotel for this area. At different places, a customer would probably be compensated in some way(free meal or something), but not here.

A high quality appeal with a standard experience.

I visited this hotel for the first time on my visit. At first glance it looks really trendy and upscale. I was not unsatisfied with all I received during my visit, I just don't think its all it appears to be. My only cons with this establishment is the lack of room service. The hotel restaurant does not fully cater to individual or single travelers. The hotel has only one elevator and it actually broke during my visit so I was forced to use the stairs. The air conditioning unit in the suite room I had was faulty and did not keep my room cool so I was again forced to leave the window open to keep air flow. There was dust along the back of the couch and dust bunnies under the bed which activated my dust allergies so my night was a fun sneeze fest. The tiles in the shower had calk buildup which tells me the house cleaning isn't bringing up issues to management as they clear the rooms. My pros for the hotel were ok, rooms were sound proof. Beds were really comfortable. The waterfall shower was a really nice and refreshing touch. The staff was really friendly and inviting. All in all I would visit this hotel again but not for a relaxing get away or special event.

A tired Hotel

Reception staff ok, Hotel restaurant run by 3rd party food not acceptable, room not very clean, I asked for iron, sole plate was burnt ironing board cover stained, when i asked for clean iron and board they were not able to provide, i was told they would provide better one next day nothing arrived.Shower floor tiles lifting ,fluff on bathroom floor still there next day.

This hotel is conveniently located near many great restaurants, a grocery store, some attractions, an outdoor market (on weekends) and more. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The included amenities are nice (WiFi, sauna, gym, bottled waters, gummi bears, etc) and certainly add a nice touch to the place. The rooms are spacious and clean, with large showers w/waterfall type shower heads. There is an onsite bar and restaurant, in case you don't want to leave for the evening. Parking is available (at a cost) under the hotel itself. Breakfast, which isn't the best I've had in Germany, is still good and will certainly start your morning off right.

The rooms have fairly large beds, a nice television, writing desk, coffee/tea maker, and the aforementioned shower/bathroom area. While I am not overly impressed with the bed, it isn't bad -- just now as comfortable as some places I've stayed. The shower is very nice and gets warm quickly.

Overall, if you need a place to stay in the area and the price is within your range, you won't go wrong picking this place. There may be better options out there, but not with all the features this establishment offers. A good place to rest your head to say the least.

Hotel staff is nice. Parking is under the hotel and costs Euro but convenient. Hotel rooms are modern. Nothing fancy but location was ideal for markets close by if they have one. Hotel is secured and you can't use elevator unless you have a room key so that's good.
