A lovely stay
Elisabeth Hon 11/08/2017 19:27We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the purple room a lot. Separate bathroom was OK. Very different from other B&Bs, but cosy and things to see everywhere. Maybe too many things..?
Unfortunayely wifi does not work in the top floor.
Easy to park outside the B&B.
Quaint

Salisbury bnb
Hugo Kon 26/07/2017 17:57The owners are nice and friendly. The building is old and tired. The off street parking is available but not easy to access. The bed we had was old and tired. The television is too small for the location and did not have clear reception. The coffee and tea were not of a high standrd. The towels were not of a high standard . The shower is pokey just big enough to wash yourself. The breakfast was nice but could have been better if they had fresher produce. The condiments and breakfast products not of a high standard. Was intending to stay 2 nights but changed our mind's and left in the morning.
Booked this B&B through Booking.com. stating that we would arrive between 9.00pm and 10.00pm
bacchusneilon 30/06/2017 09:13It was very difficult to find at that time of night because of the one way system round Dover and the poor dim lighting in Salisbury Road .We telephoned the owner at 10.14pm and he said he would meet us outside his house. There was a sign but half of it was blocked by branches of the tree and it wasn't lit up.
When we tried to explain our late arrival, he didn't like our comments he replied by saying that we were late and had given him a lot of hassle and suggested we go elsewhere! After a tiring long drive it's certainly not the welcome you expect and finding somewhere else in Dover at that time of night without knowing the town was not easy. However we did eventually find somewhere where the welcome was warm and friendly and we had a very comfortable night. We would not recommend this B&B
Charming & Quirky B&B / Helpful and Friendly Host
Justin71on 27/06/2017 12:14Made a last very last minute booking the night before an early departure on the Ferry for France.
The B&B is located only a short stroll to the rail station, main shops and seafront and sits in a quiet and peaceful residential area.
On arrival we were very warmly greeted by the host Thomas, and shown to our lovely en-suite room on the first floor facing the front of the property.
The large room was full of character and charm and featured a convenient en-suite bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities, free WiFi and best of all, a lovely soft & comfy bed.
The room rate came with complimentary breakfast, either cooked or continental, however as we were leaving at such an early time in the morning Thomas very nicely showed us the breakfast room where we could help ourselves before we left which was fantastic.
We really appreciated Thomas' warm welcome and friendly nature and would of course stay again on our next trip from Dover to France or even to stay longer and discover more of the area, which seems to be going through a bit of an exciting redevelopment at the moment.
Lastly, once on the Ferry to France I realized that I had misplaced my wallet and thought it may have fallen down underneath the bed. A simple call to Thomas waylaid my fears and he very graciously located it and sent it straight home to me via registered delivery. So again Thank-you so much Thomas for putting my mind to rest and providing such a lovely stay.
