I almost hesitate to give this place such a good review
Paul Ron 11/07/2017 21:20Every once in awhile you come across a place that is so good that you hesitate to tell other people about it for fear that it will get too popular and you won't be able to get in next time. Salmonberry Inn & Beach House is that place. We were able to snag a last-minute reservation and the place far exceeded my expectation. The house is a great place to just kick back and relax, with amazing public spaces including multiple sitting rooms and outdoor decks. A great magazine collection, books, videos, a hot tub - if there wasn't an ocean a block away you could just hang out here all day. And the breakfasts - wow. Most B&Bs give you a choice of two or four entrees for breakfast based on what they want to serve. Liz gives you a menu of about ten different items. And did I mention the free wine and beer in the evening? Great place, great food, great hostess. It all adds up to a B&B you should visit. Just don't take my room...
WOW! I could live there!
welcome65on 06/07/2017 06:01I don't even know where to begin- this is quite possibly the most charming place I've ever stayed. And I've stayed in many 5 star hotels. Immediately when we pulled up there were so many beautiful flowers everywhere; as we walked in we passed a small fountain in the courtyard. When we walked in the front door we are walked into the coziest living room you can imagine- sofas and chair covered in white canvas slip covers, a fireplace and beautiful art on every wall. Magazines and books on every surface - inviting us to get comfy/relax and read. Complimentary wine/beer/tea/coffee in the bar area for us to enjoy. Upstairs there is a dining area, library, and rooftop seating area with nighttime lighting. Plants, flowers and bonsai trees are everywhere- inside and out. Outdoors they have a garden that rivals any English garden; 2 fire pits and a small pond. Liz, the owner, met us when we arrived and we immediately felt as if she was an old friend. She is so welcoming and has such a warmness to her. She showed us to our room which was, in a word, FABULOUS. It left us wondering if she might be an interior designer. Comfy and clean and the perfect size! Honestly, we will come back to Oregon just to stay at Salmonberry Inn!! Do yourself a huge favor and stay here- you will be so happy you did!!
Anniversary get-a-way
Galpinawayon 27/06/2017 18:56We had such a wonderful stay at the Salmonberry Inn. Liz and her charming husband made our stay excellent. The food!!! Wow! Best Eggs Benny we have ever had. A cozy Living room and open wine bar made the afternoons prior to dinner a perfect place to relax.
Great location and Liz was helpful in helping us plan our dinners out!
Can't wait to go back! Thank you!
Super cozy and welcoming!
jennifer bon 27/10/2016 03:28Liz and her husband have done a fabulous job of making you feel right at home (without the chores, of course). The house is a wonderfully inviting and cozy place to return to after a day exploring Lincoln City. The breakfast choices were amazing and cooked to perfection.
Overall, a wonderful experience.
AmyJ25on 17/10/2016 21:54My husband and I stayed in the "Gone to the Beach" themed room. It was so nice and cute! The breakfast is great! We've stayed in many bed and breakfasts and this one was unique because we were able to fill out a menu the night prior. It was awesome to know what we were eating in the morning and to look forward to the meal! Liz, the caretaker is so welcoming! We highly recommend this B&B if you are visiting Lincoln City/Oregon Coast.
