Great location for a couple of genealogy buffs!

My wife and I came on a nine-day genealogy research trip with a group of 25 adults from the San Francisco Bay area so this location was excellent as it was right next door to the Salt Lake City Family History Library. We had a double queen deluxe room which was fine for our needs. The room was equipped with a small microwave, mini-refrigerator and small coffee maker. It also had a desk where we spread out our research materials and small round table with two chairs which we used for dining. It also had a small safe for valuables which we used everyday before we went to the library. It had a flat screen television which was fine but in-room pay for view movies would have been a welcome addition on the nights we stayed in. You can order room service from JB's the adjacent restaurant but we always walked down and actually had breakfast there every day of our trip and also the first night dinner (in the late afternoon) as we were tired from our airplane trip. The complimentary airport service was great and the driver was very personable. We have stayed here once before on another research trip and the location can not be beat. We did not need to rent a car as shopping and restaurants were close by. We did use the trolley system once as the stop is right outside the front door of the hotel - we went down the street to the Gateway shopping District for lunch at a Brazilian Barbecue. There certainly are more luxurious accommodations available but for more money and further walking distance to the Temple Square area. We will stay here again on our next trip hopefully next year! P.S. Lobby staff were all very helpful - we had a good experience. There is also a pool and spa which we did not use but should have as the weather was hot most days.

Great location, but the partiers on our floor made for a sleepless night.

The location of this hotel is perfect if you want to do some shopping, tour the sights in the area, and make use of the Trax located right outside the hotel. There's a restaurant adjacent to the hotel for breakfast, and a parking garage, so no worries about where you're going to park your car- however, the car parked next to ours had it's window bashed out. The guy with the damaged car was at the front desk talking about it and we discovered we were parked right next to him. That would not deter me from staying here again, however.

My only complaint would be our sleeping experience. Our night at the hotel was very restless as we happened to be on a floor with a large group of young adults who were very loud almost on a non stop basis until myself, and others, called the front desk to complain. While the steady drone of loud voices died down a bit, it did not stop, and my husband and I constantly work up to loud voices/shouting throughout the night. I didn't make another call to the front desk as I did not want to worry about waking up our daughter, who thankfully slept through all the noise. I wish the front desk would have done random checks on the floor to make sure the group was keeping their noise level down. It's not fun embarking on a ten hour road trip when you don't feel very rested.

The complimentary airport pickup began our experience and the clean spacious rooms with comfortable beds completed the experience. The courteous and helpful staff just made our stay more pleasant. They were more than happy to hold our excess luggage while we toured Tetons and Yellowstone NPs. The attached restaurant provided ample breakfast options and even a dinner when the skies opened and downpour occurred. The central position beside Temple Square, the city center, just made life easier.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Caring and helpful staff. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport. If the shuttle is available, the driver will take you to anywhere within the town. This is especially appreciated when it's hot outside.
This hotel is in the centre of town and is only a short walk from all the tourist sites that are on offer.
There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner for reasonable prices.

We stayed here for 8 nights. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. After a long time travelling it was great to find a hotel with laundry facilities. The location suited us perfectly as we wanted to visit the many places of interest on Temple Square. I'd be happy to stay here again.
