Samoset is another amazing resort owned by opal collections
Cannot begin to tell you how great the service is at these resorts, from top person all the way down, nothing but the best service I have ever seen
Also here at samoset they have what's called " the flume cottage" which is on cliff right on ocean, one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen, golf course is also amazing
Simply put, the opal collections resorts are top to bottom best resorts I have ever stayed in

Great weekend getaway spot

We recently had the opportunity to stay at the Samoset for a couple nights. What a great place for a break. Property has enough to do that its easy to stay right there and enjoy. We are all about the food and La Bella Vita didn't disappoint. Had a wonderful halibut special and the wait staff is great. Our 2nd night we were able to get one of the cottages which is a real treat, like a home away from home. Beautiful view of the water off a large screen porch that was so nice we just couldn't leave. That night we tried their wood fired pizza and a bottle of wine right on the porch. Doesn't get much better. During the days the pool is a nice break with a pool bar right there for drinks and lunch. Literally a view from every spot on the property. Even enjoyed a late night walk along the coastal golf course path. Great getaway spot here in New England.

Great resort and staff

We went to the Samoset for a quick getaway and left completely happy and look forward to our next visit. The staff was incredible. Friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. We took advantage of all the resort had to offer - golf, spa, pool, gym and the restaurants. Food was very good in both the main restaurant and in the lounge. The outside seating is great with a view of the ocean. I recommend the Samoset to anyone.

It had been a couple years since I have been to the Samoset Resort On The Ocean . Maine is a state everyone should come and see . SO clean ,fresh and very friendly people .I have been coming to Maine for many years but there is one spot that I must Always visit and that is the Samoset Resort ! Once you visit and stay at this great property you will know what I mean . The food is fantastic and the cocktails are Very good . The staff is well trained and extremely friendly and knowledgeable . From the time we arrived we truly felt we were at home . We stayed in one of the cottages that you will want to be at if available .Book early. The views are incredible plus the location is just spectacular. If you love golf you will be in for a special treat. This course is located right on the ocean with views you will never forget. This is a true 5 Star Resort !!! I think everyone has taken a vacation and when the last day is coming up you feel it time to get back home and to work .You know when you have had a fun & relaxing vacation ? Its when you wake up the last morning of your vacation and say how can we stay a few more nights? That is what happened to us . We can hardly wait to come back and enjoy a time of the year in Maine that we have never enjoyed yet . We are planning on leaving Florida & coming back to enjoy the Samoset this fall and see the beautiful leaves and enjoy a great day sail on the Appledore in Camdem

A wonderful resort with stunning ocean views and a picturesque golf course. Comfortable rooms and slightly dated hallways. Good food in the bar and restaurant, both however, have a bizarre, out-of-place, and pretentious Italian motif. Service is top notch.
