Worse customer service experience

Elvis, front desk clerk was a complete jerk, yelled at us, screamed and made homophobic comment. Unacceptable! Bell boy apologized and tried for making up to the awful experience. Locations and rooms are great, but it does not make up for rude staff!

Very good hotel and place to go on a Congress

São Francisco Flat é a hotel where you can find rooms to have business meeting, congress and the staff is very helpful. A friend of mine stayed for a week here and I went there everyday. They went on a reform and the architeture is very different now. The hotel is very clean. They also have a special room for honey moon and wedding birthdays and it is really good.

It is an large flat-hotel. The room have a separate seating area, a balcony and a small kitchen fully equipped. The bedroom is of reasonable space and have a window AC. I was at 6th floor and it was noisy because of the traffic sounds. They offer a very small and outdated gym and pool. The included breakfast is nice and have reasonable number of choices. The staff is great and very helpful. In general the hotel may need an update. It's location was good and at walking and easy reach of good restaurants and the Convention center: Minas Centro.

Lourdes - Great and safe neighborhood to be in, good experience. Stayed there in two separate instances and both experiences were good - clean rooms and good service. Lots of good restaurants around the place, you can enjoy being there anytime.

Solid Location - Average on Everything Else

Stayed here during the World Cup with my wife. The location is in a nice clean area of Lourdes, close to Savassi and other attractions in the "centro" area. Within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Rooms are dated and average though the view of the city is nice. Staff was relatively helpful and breakfast was just okay. Not a bad spot if you can get a decent rate but don't overpay as there is nothing that really sets this hotel apart.
