What People are saying
WIFI DOESNT WORK
on 19/11/2017 21:24
I usually don't write reviews when I have bad experiences but this is something that needs to be shared. First of all, there are cracks in the door (like big holes were people can see through) so there's no privacy in our room, we had to fill out the cracks with toilet paper so people couldn't see inside the room. Second, the shower barely has any pressure and it drains very slow so you are showering in a puddle. I understand that these are old buildings but for the price I'm paying I expect at least working showers. Third, my husband and I came from the desert very tired and dirty and were looking forward for a warm shower so my husband started taking a shower when all of the sudden the water stopped; so I went downstairs to check with the receptionist and he said that it was because he turned on the pool water, so he apologized and turned off. If they know that showers don't work when they turn on the pool water why would you even turn it on. And Lastly, the wifi doesn't work in our bedroom, so I'm writing this review in the courtyard, I asked the receptionist about it but he just said sorry that the internet company has a problem in this area. If that's the case, why would they advertise that it has wifi, when you can't use it in the room.
Beautiful

Stayed here just for one night. Easy enough to find from where the taxi dropped us off. Lovely quiet location away from all the hustle & bustle but just a short walk to the main square.
The Riad is absolutely beautiful, really tastefully decorated & very light & airy. (I've stayed in Riads before & some can feel a little dark)
The rooms are spacious & clean with quite large bathrooms. We had one room on the ground floor & one on the first floor, both different but both equally stunning. Beds very comfortable.
The roof terrace is lovely with a few parasols & loungers, tables & chairs. The staff were very friendly & accommodating.
The breakfast was very nice & taken on the terrace. Moroccan bread, cake, pancakes, yoghurt, juice & coffee. More than enough to fill us up.
Would highly recommend.
Stunning riad with wonderful staff

The riad is stunning! It is located only a ten minute walk to the main Jema El-Fna square and next to a famous landmark (one of the palaces) but despite this it is so quiet and peaceful inside. The central courtyard has an emerald green pool, a beautiful orange tree, a huge palm tree, tons of seating options, etc. There is a roof top terrace too with lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun with beautiful gardens. The room was very nice - we had a large bathroom and a private balcony overlooking the courtyard as well. The staff really go above and beyond (especially Faoud) to make your stay perfect. They are welcoming, call and make dinner reservations for you, show you the best places to go on a map of the city, etc. The breakfast is very small and basic but it is good. My only complaint is how difficult this place is to find! The taxi has to drop you off at a certain point and from there it is a two minute walk but we needed help from a local to be able to find the riad. Try to arrange for help from them ahead of time to find the place .
A great stay

Myself and 2 friends stayed here for a few nights in October 2013 and we loved every minute. Our hosts were so kind and helpful, recommended great restaurants and booked spa appointments for us. The room was lovely and clean. We had the entire riad to ourselves during our stay so we felt like royalty. Delightful rooftop breakfasts every morning while watching the neighboring storks, it was truly a pleasure. Easy walking distance to the main square and other sights worth seeing in Marrakesh.

We spent 5 nights in March 14 and had a great holiday. Forehead ( sorry if the spellings wrong ), Rachid and the rest of the staff were all charming and efficient. If you have want to book any daytrips, need any practical advice or need to chat about the football Forehead is your man. From the roof terrace you can see the storks on the Palace Badi. We had dinner in the riad on the first night and it was excellent food but share a main dish between two as the portion size was very generous. We would certainly stay again.
