Lunch in the restaurant of the hotel
Ginit74on 03/02/2017 21:02Arrived a bit late for the "Italian lunch time".
Few table still occupied and we had a reserved table on the centre of the room.
As first course had the bigoli al ragù that was really good, the second course was a steak with roasted potatoes, the steak was a bit over cooked but still quite good, the potatoes quite oily and unfortunately soft.
OK for a night or two
Taxidiotis2014on 21/10/2016 17:35This hotel is very well situated, close to the centre of Montecchio (which is not interesting at all, by the way) and close to the highway, still not in the middle of the traffic (noise) using the local highway exit / entrance. The hotel has relatively simple, modern rooms, but wifi is not always working. The bathroom wasn't that comfortable. Reception staff not friendly.

+ Clean rooms
+ Home like atmosphere
+ Complimentary high speed Wifi
+ Excellent Breakfast and tasty food
+ Mini-safe in the room
- Bathroom shower cabinet is too small
- No complimentary water
- Lifts work only till 1st floor on Sundays
Other than this, we had an excellent stay and the owners treated us like family members.
Ideal overnight when travelling
Michal Bon 12/09/2015 23:05I stayed here when having a long trip through the North of Italy. As it is located near to the highway, it´s a good for such an overnight. Moreover it´s quite pleasant, with a good restaurant as well.
It doesn´t offer anything extraordinary, it´s rather a simple hotel, you have a comfy parking next to the hotel, the rooms are a bit small, wi-fi not functioning so well, staff professional. Regarding the breakfast, the selection is not huge, but it´s enough.
We will definitely come back.

San Marco Hotel is a family business where the owners personally supervise day-to-day routine and quality of service. The eye pleasing elegance, excellent food, good standard of cleanliness and friendly reception is what we found. The restaurant has a nice terrace where one can eat 'all'aperto'; it is comfortable and sheltered. There is a bit of noise caused by the neighbouring traffic but we could still hear the birds singing during our breakfasts. We would definitely come back.
BTW: Wi-Fi actually functions pretty well!
