Breakfast was very very terrible. It was disappointment. Wifi was weak and worked only in certain areas (for egz. just outside, not in the room). Rooms (sheets) were dirty. We had pipes smell issue and informed the reception, after that maid got yelled and came to us crying, saying that she does not smell anything. She just put some powder in pipes and that's all. No one was interested in solving the problem. We tried to change the room, but they rejected our complains, didn't suggest the discount. Also, they didn't informed about having more than one buildings and some guests were expecting to stay in main building, on the beach (as it is portrayed in the pictures), but instead of that got the rooms in some place really far from the beach. Conditioner was 7 euros per day. They didn't have protection on the windows from mosquitoes. In the room was hot, so you had to pay for conditioner or open the window and suffer from mosquitoes. Also, you have to be aware that hotel is near main street and noise is very loud at night. They have nice pool. Over all, we didn't expect high class, but this hotel was disappointment considering the price and I would never recommend this hotel for anyone.

Awe stayed 15 nights at the San Marina , and had a fantastic stay the staff were very friendly and helpful , normal,things like can we have clean towels , 5 mins later we had them , cups for the room , extra loo roll etc . Sally the rep was amazing always friendly , also helps she is English and has lived in Corfu for 18 years so has loads of knowledge of the island .
Rooms were cleaned daily and was always spotless, and very respectful of your belongings, our room was at the back so,didn't have a sea view , but on the plus side we had sun from 11am till sundown , only drawback in our room we was above the kitchen , so it was a little warm around meal times , but the food smells were never a problem as always smelled good, although we never ate there, this was not due to th restaurant , we just were always out and about at the times of meals and never up eat enough for breakfast lol .
All in all a great hotel in a fantastic location we would definitely return.

The sliding doors that led to balcony was broken. Water was dirty. Few mosquitoes, hotel staff asked us to arrange for mosquito repellents. Breakfast was decent. No hot water facility. No elevators and I had difficulty because of my leg injury. Overall a very okay hotel to stay.

Where to begin...My friends and I decided to go to Kavos due to millions of suggestions for the fun times teens and adults have. We even watched youtube vides dedicated to the crazy nightlife of Kavos that suggested it would be a great place for groups of friends...and we decided to go. Naturally we hadn't booked a hotel so we came across San Marina, and having little choice, we decided to book it for 5 days.
In all honesty, we didn't care of the hotel conditions considering we were only going to spend a few hours sleeping there...yet I gotta say that the hotel was as we expected for the price we paid: very basic furniture, a basic bed, sometimes not working showers and bathtubs. That was all fine, but a problem was the air conditioning which was not working despite it being advertised in working conditions.
One advice: do not include food in your payment because there are more worthy shops around the city that literally invite you in, especially at night, and you can pay the same price for better and diverse Green dishes.
The staff of the hotel was nonexistent but in the end we didn't really care for the hotel as we spent less than 5 hours a day in it.
I'd recommend the hotel if you have nowhere to go but all in all do not expect much in any of the hotels. People simply do not go there for the hotels, but rather for the awesome nightlife which was a very new experience for me.

Bottom line: When you have nowhere to go, anywhere will suffice.

The Island Marina is a lovely hotel, friendly staff, right on the beach and the kavos strip or high street full of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. We loved the daily hotel bar, friendly staff there at the bar, at reception and the reps. I recommend this hotel.
