What People are saying
Great value, very hospitable
bmore15on 13/11/2016 09:09My room was clean and the shower worked fine...the view was nice, the balcony was big and the bar staff were really hospitable (The head of staff spoke great english, as did the owner). The location was perfect, right in the heart of Hua hin and about 10 mins walk from the beach. At 800 THB a night, I can't complain. But apparently when it's busy the price can go up to at least 1000 THB. But I thought it was great.
Young old people.
Martyn Eon 14/10/2015 12:11A friend and I stayed for two nights (30 Sept-1 Oct) for the price it was very much what we required. The rooms were all of what was needed for our short stay. We could see the pool from our balcony but we didn't have the pleasure of using it.
All in all a very welcoming two night stop over and shall return.

A cheaper alternative...
eric312659on 24/03/2015 19:38This is to put it mildly a very basic hotel and the word hotel is in itself very flattering!
That being said if you are on a limited budget it is well worth considering
I was with a group of friends on a golf tour and it was more than adequate for our needs being next door to HGP our local Hua Hin tour organizer. As a little aside if you are intending to play golf in this area look no further than this friendly, efficient tour group. Their very well stocked premises offer all the major brands as well as excellent hire facilities.
Back to the Sand Inn! The rooms are relatively well appointed with a sprung double bed, limited wardrobe and drawer space, mini bar and decent air con. There was also a small flat screen TV still in its cellophane wrapper which I presume was new. It had adequate channels if that is important to you.
The shower/toilet area are just that, no frills no fuss, hot water and that's about it.
There is a nice little tiled swimming pool in the back garden and four or five old but still serviceable pool loungers.
In summery not for the fussy traveller,or those looking for more than a basic place to put your head down.
The rooms are over three floors only accessible by a rather steep staircase.
It can be rather noisy at night being in the heart of the club and bar area.
On the upside manager Wassana and her staff are very friendly and could not be more helpful.
Not for the faint hearted but if you are on a VERY limited budget well worth a look.
Terrible
Maurice1981on 04/01/2015 17:48Terrible hotel. Very 'out of date'. Hotel needs a full renovation. Room was a littlebit filthy and the shower was even worse. Didn't have hot water. Overall it was terrible. Even left one day early to go to my next hotel. Price was steap. Hotel is located in the centre of Hua Hin but that's the only good thing about it. Try to find something else if you can.
loved my stay here
flux1957on 02/03/2014 13:29really enjoyed my stay in the sand inn, the owner wasana was a lovely woman always willing to help ,my room was at the the rear of the hotel so that was a bonus as it came with a balcony and in the evening it was cool and relaxing sitting out there .room was large with a double bed ,air con ,t,v and a safe ,and was cleaned everyday.2 bottles of water were given free everyday.
close to all the nightlife and the sand inn has its own bar and pool table ,definetly stay here again
