Meld616on 24/06/2017 16:38First, I want to say, I read a ton of reviews on here. Somehow, the negative reviews scared me more than the positive reviews assured me. It is what you make it! We made it amazing. We completely enjoyed the whole week. I read so many horrible things and we experienced none of it. We laughed a lot. We met amazing people that were also on vacation and we enjoyed all of the staff interactions. We spent our 20th anniversary by relaxing by the main pool and playing cornhole followed by a massage at Red Lane spa. My husband was apprehensive about the cost, but he said it was totally worth it. We had dinner at Eleanor's and the filet was cooked to perfection. The food was tasty everywhere we went. We enjoyed the pizzas at Giuseppe's a lot. We stopped for desserts and coffees at the Cafe. We just had a great time all around and had no desire to pack a lot of plans in. It was a great atmosphere. The people we met along the way were just as impressed with that place as we were. If you are looking for something to be wrong, I'm sure you'll find it. We didn't even mind the bus ride in to the resort. We somehow received a private transfer back though and it was a smidge faster. Our room was in he Dutch village and it wasn't updated like the Italian, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. If you want an indication of how much we liked it, I went and booked again. I'm sure by the time we head back most of the rooms will be renovated.
You won't regret a stay here.

NORMA5149on 23/06/2017 21:21we celebrated out 25th anniversary, we never got to have a honeymoon so this was it. the staff was so welcoming, very nice and kind , beautiful resort, very much exactly what we wanted...we wanted our time together, we wanted peace and quiet, relaxation and enjoyment. we loved it. I loved having coffee in the mornings on our patio in my robe !!

sah6888on 22/06/2017 22:19This was our first time at an all inclusive resort and it was well worth it. It was very clean and everyone was nice. Our room was on the French side our pool was the only one that had the bartender that was there later because he had to make drinks for the only one restaurant that was on our side. Let me tell you the evening bartender who's name is Oshane T was excellent everytime we were there he was on top of it all and seem to keep up with all the drinks that he had to make. It seemed that he really enjoyed his job kudos to him. They had a signature drink called the cucumber cooler it was the only place that you could get that drink very refreshing drink. Another bartender was Rinaldo he was at the bar called latitude over the water he was fun to watch. They are building something over the water so there is some construction but we didn't mind we sat on the beech with our drink and watched the daily progress. A little too much seaweed but overall an excellent place to go especially if you like to eat and drink and just relax.
Another Wonderful Vacation
EastTNJill1966on 22/06/2017 21:46This was the first time we have ever arrived in the middle of a down pour in Jamaica and the airport was a nightmare,however once we got on our way to the resort it got better. It still seemed like a very long way to the resort and we decided not to make any judgements until we had gotten a good nights rest.This was our 10th trip to a Sandals and we have loved them all.They are all different . Here we loved the beach, Great Big Mabel (tubing) and the watersports staff like Everett and Koil who went way beyond when they brought us mangos and Jamaican apples from home.Hensley was awesome.He is a bartender who made sure We had plenty of non-alcoholic Champagne the whole week. The ladies in the spa especially Sandra and Theresa were wonderful! Hats off to Davide the chef at Giuseppes who is Awesome.Loved the Lasagna and all the staff including Shanette,Nikki,Shellicia. Have them sing Three Little Birds for you! Tamika was a great beach attendant for food and drink.Enjoyed meeting Mickel at Schooner's. Room in Dutch Building was good.
Wonderful anniversary trip!!

We were there 5 years ago for a friends wedding and were so impressed that we went back this year for our 10 year anniversary. The resort got even nicer than it was 5 years ago. We were upgraded to one of the new renovated rooms. The other couples in our party were very jealous of the new look of the room. We were also very impressed with the new Sushi on the Sand restaurant and Latitudes over the water bar. Both were amazing additions to the resort. All of the restaurants provided wonderful food in an amazing atmosphere. Amazing food and wonderful drinks are all you will get here.
My wife and I signed up to be Sandals Select members and were given a special members dinner. During the dinner we were able to converse with the staff and it was just an amazing time. The staff was so friendly and very interested in our stay and anything they could do to improve it.
Speaking of the staff, they are second to none. The entertainment directors were absolutely wonderful and especially Nelson. He made sure to provide us with an unforgettable week by interacting with us on every occasion he could. The other staff that blew us away were the bar tenders. They made every day an experience to not miss. Troy at the main swimup bar and Fitzroy at Latitudes were especially entertaining and kept us laughing the whole time.
This was also a first time trip for one of the couples we went with. We talked up the resort before we got there but could not do it justice. They have not stopped talking about the trip since. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who just wants to get away and not have to worry about anything but having a good time. I wish I could rate it higher than a 5.
