Word of mouth brought us here and we will do the same. Lovely big room with a huge bath immaculately clean and tidy generous decor a central but calm location and a tip top breakfast with good coffee excellent

We stayed in Jade's Attic for two nights to celebrate my 60th Birthday on the first weekend in November 2017. A lovely room, spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished with splendid decoration. The private bathroom adjoining the room was equally clean with lovely, modern fittings. Staff were courteous, polite and efficient. A great stay. Thank you!

Whitby is famous for its fish and chips.... Sanders Yard should be famous for its puddings/cakes/tarts etc!!
We come here regularly and are never disappointed. We always get tea and cake! The staff are lovely, it's always clean. A must when in Whitby x

We've been coming to Sander's Yard cafe for years and absolutely love it but what happened today? My applewood potato cake was burnt underneath and very difficult to cut. When I took it back the chef looked most disgruntled and very reluctantly made me another. I have a feeling it had been reheated in a microwave. This is so unlike what we are used to as the food is normally very good and especially the soups - the best in Whitby. Maybe the chef was having a bad day as my husband's meal was also below standard. Çome on guys don't let things slip as you have such a gem of a cafe and we
want to keep on coming.

Over the years we have visited many tourists accommodations on the east coast. On our second visit to Sanders Yard, we were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff. We arrived a little before the time we were advised to arrive. We were going to leave our case and come back later
My Husband and I were shown to our room. On entering we were surprised to find that our room was more like a suite with large settee and also to my Husband's delight a bath. Great coffee and tea supplies. A comfortable bed and lovely contemporary deco and soft furnishings
To end our stay we have a substantial breakfast.
