We visited this hotel in 2011 Feb.. That time it was a new one.. Just was under construction.. We stay at cottages.. That was a nice concept.. For whole family stay.. Kitchen drawing room dining area three bedrooms.. I liked that very much

Good /Clean / with Morden stay ..

Good place to stay ..
i was there with my friends around 24 person ,, its good and nice place with very helpful staff + nice food .. in side the hotel its good but out side no valley view + very less green garden out side ,,

Average, Bit over hyped by ratings, good but not exactly value for money.

First of all location is not that great. When I booked it on makemytrip, it shows as 1.1 km from Manali bus stand but there are two bus stands in Manali. One is Govt bus stand and one is private bus stand. The actual Govt bus stand (near Mall road), which is around 2.5 kms from the hotel seems pretty far as the road to the hotel is a highway and poorly lit. There are no proper lights on the way from the highway to the hotel which makes it "feel unsafe" while travelling at night. The least the hotel management could have done is put some proper lights on the uphill road near to the hotel (not everywhere). Also there are many hotels near Mall road which are not listed in makemytrip and believe me those hotels were far better. After reading reviews about Sandhya resorts, I had great expectations but it turned out to be pretty average. I doubt whether all the reviews were proper. The hotel is pretty neat and clean and modern but nothing great about it. Even for tour services, its better to go for some outside local operators as their rates will be comparatively cheaper. On day 1, as I didn't know, I booked a cab for local sight seeing from the hotel. The driver again was pretty much in a hurry to show Hadimba temple and other places. So for the Solang valley tour the next day I got an outside cab from Mall road and the driver was very good and guided us properly. The hotel would charge extra for room heaters, which is the most basic thing for any hill station hotel. For breakfast too, there was no buffet when I went. It was order one by one like any restaurant, although the food was quite good. The view from the hotel is pretty good but overall the hotel is just average. I mean nothing great about it and there are many better options in Manali.

Hi...I visited this place few days back and had a great time. Third floor of the hotel has 2 cottages. Each cottage has 3 bedrooms, a common place, kitchen equipment and a balcony. A view from a hotel is not spectacular as compared to other hotels but its not bad also. I must mention that the hotel staff was very cooperative and provided us a prompt services. Rooms are neat and clean. Free wifi is also available on demand. Another advantage is this place is not far from market area. It does not have any extraordinary features...its just like an other hotel but I will rate this above average because the memories attached to this hotel and quality services of hotel staff.

You can have better options

After comparing the tariffs with the services of this property, ( this being my 8th trip to manali ) all I an say is that you have many options on the main highway, why would one go all the way on a side road to stay there. The property in it self in average, food quality I exceptional when you order in room dining but it falls below average when its buffet. The property has some cleanliness issues, and the management needs to hire professionals for house keeping. I would not like to go back there
