Beachfront Fun on the Grand Strand

Efficiency units up to two and three bedroom condos provide roomy, spacious living quarters right on the beach. Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, numerous restaurants, gift shop, and a full service spa. The beach front is walkable for miles in either direction and in close proximity to a fishing pier and additional restaurants. There is also a convenient adjacent parking garage. This is an older facility that could use some upgrades and improvements how ever it is functional, not too outdated, and convenient to both the heart of Myrtle Beach, restaurant row, shopping, and entertainment. Staff are warm, welcoming, and friendly.
All you need within a few miles
wonderwoman1227on 08/08/2017 18:03I love to stay here because you have food, live music, a nightclub, all in the same building. If you don't want to leave, you don't have to. The rooms are sometimes sketchy but the location is so worth it. I LOVE OCEAN ANNIES. Music and great bartenders.
Has everything you need
Lisa Kon 04/08/2017 03:25When looking for hotels in Myrtle Beach I was totally overwhelmed. I looked at reviews and I got even more confused on where to stay. We decided to stay at sands ocean club resort and we loved it. We saw reviews about rude staff. Not one staff from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, bartenders etc were ever rude to us. They were very friendly and were helpful when asked for anything. We had a ocean view efficiency room which had everything we needed especially a great view. Room was clean even though we saw lots of reviews that said rooms weren't clean. Our favorite thing was Ocean Annie's right off the pool. You could sit around the pool, listen to music and get drinks. River city cafe was right off the pool also. We are lunch there several days. Food was really good and very reasonably priced. The hotel is older and rooms could use some updating but we would definitely stay here again. You really would never even have to leave because it has everything. You walk right out the hotel to the pool to the beach. It was perfect. An Extra FYI we talked to numerous people who have stayed here year after year. One guy for 28 years. So obviously it's not as bad as some of the reviews say it is or people wouldn't come back.
Rooms are filthy
agnello5600on 01/08/2017 21:1210th year coming here. Officially our last! Rooms are filthy. After 2 days an no maid service I found a pizza box under the cabinet from who knows when. I contacted the manager because we had no towels or toilet paper. Also told her (elanda) about the condition of the room. The next day they made up 1 bed and left the sheets for us to do. Still the pizza box and still not vacuumed. The following day they finally got the box. 2 towels now. And no cleaning. After day 5 my daughter rolled a ball that went under the bed. We heard a clank. It hit a beer can that was not from us and dumped it on the carpet (yes an open beer can) we were completely grossed out. Told the manager again. I asked her to come to the room and see the conditions. She said she was not allowed. I mentioned the beer can with beer and we still can't get towels. She said all she can do is notify housekeeping. Well the next day....guess what, still the disgusting open beer under the bed. They made the bed. We got 3 towels!!! For our 4 guests.

Terrible room condition
on 01/08/2017 01:41We arrived on July 26th for a 3 night stay in room 904. The resort is definitely due for an update but we could easily overlook that if the condition of the room was decent. Upon opening the door of our room we were overwhelmed by the dampness and musty odor. There was mildew/mold growing on ceiling and up the walls in the closet. Large holes in the bedspread. The light fixtures next to the bed were disgusting and completely rusted due to the moisture issue in room. Bathtub backed up ever time you took a shower. The tiled area were so grimy feeling and the grout so dirty that we always kept our shoes on. By far the worst hotel/resort room we have ever stayed in. We actually looked for excuses to stay away from the resort so we wouldn't have to go to our room.
