Cleanliness

We stayed at Sandy Beach two years ago and loved it. We were on the 8th floor.At that time it was very clean. However, on this visit the cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. This year we were on the 15th floor. Dirt marks on all the light switches and hairdryer. The carpet was disgusting. We requested new sheets on the bed ( we traveled with an infant and he had an accident on the sheet) and housekeeping was very upset about this. We removed the bedding on our own. I read the hotel is to change sheets every three days...which they didn't. We left two days early. Perhaps it was the floor we were on this year? I do not think we will return after this visit.

Leaving today. Not the nicest place. We had roaches when we turned lights on, beds were hard and one matteress cracked like it was broken when u sat on it. Television reception and tv's were horrible. I showed front seat trash in the hallway for 2 days took pictures to prove it. Annoying pizza coupons under doors everyday. Should be secure entry so they can't do that. And loading area garbage and cig butts everywhere. The view was about the only thing that was good.

Big room, clean. Rowdy area

The hotel is clean. Up to date and the rooms and view is excellent. The area is close to the boardwalk and also family kingdom, so night time is a little rowdy. But it for sure doesn't lack for things to do. Security seems ample and never felt un-safe but it isn't for those who want a secluded or high class experience.

My 4 year old loved all the pool options several pools, kiddie play area, lazy river, several hot tubs. Great view! Great location. Spacious room with kitchen, couch, murphy bed, and 2 queens. A good deal for the price. No noise. I could never hear any of the neighbors. It was very quiet even on memorial day weekend Atlantic bike week. Room could use some updates like new carpet, but not a big deal. Housekeeping did act like they were put out when they would come by and ask if we wanted service. This is only reason I am giving 4 not 5 stars (mind you you pay for it) If you said yes, they seemed annoyed. Also never predictable times we would be gone all day come back late afternoon and when I said yes to service I was informed their "shift was over". Some days would come early am some late afternoon. I never knew when to be away from room so they could service it. Front desk staff was very friendly every time I interacted with them. Liked that it was near the boardwalk. I would stay here again.

A week at the beach!

The room was great with a beautiful view of the beach, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The location is just a short walk away from the boardwalk which I thought made it the perfect location. Tons of food and entertainment near by much of it in walking distance.
