Volver is located just in the North side of Lisbon, in a residential area.
When you enter the door you come to a warm elegant environment with atmospheric lighting.
What I particular liked was the distance of the tables. Since the area was quite large, there was sufficient distance between the tables. I also like the rear window that was looking in the Garden.
The staff was very polite and helpful, discreet but there when you need them.
The Food Excellent. The cuts interesting. The varieties and aging of the meat as you would expect.
WIne list had very interesting choices.
More important all the above were moderately priced.

My friends and i went yesterday to this restaurant and asked for serveral meat qualities and it was the best night i have had in a while! Super chill environment, super nice staff and honestly best steak i have ever eaten. Thank you for everything!

I think they are still good but had been better in the past. We ordered the 5 course tasting menu and the first course had three things including ox ham that was too chewy and almost inedible. The second course was a single leaf of steamed lettuce over a scoop of what tasted like ricotta. The seafood in the risotto was good but overall the dish was a little too creamy. The beef was about half fat so when splitting it with another person I had like eight bites of steak. Maybe the lesson is not to order the tasting menu. It was 38.5 Euros per person and I wasn't full by the end. Their filet mignon is generally great and I wish I had ordered it this time. I also loved their mixed appetizers plate but they removed it from the menu.

As Brazilian I do appreciate a great steak and this place delivers every single time. The T-bone Steak was the best I ever had. I can recommend this restaurant to every meat lover. Muito bom!!!

visited this place with a friend, at lunch, when half of the restaurants in the outskirts of Lisbon seemed closed due to summer vacation.
The ambience is thos restaurant is inviting and you feel confortable and the tables are far enough apart so that you can have some privacy.
For lunck they have a la carte and also a couple of lunch menus. We chose one of it (the one without dessert) and went for it.
Before the menu came we were served some bread and butters and we thought they were part of the menu...so for you not to be surprised, they are not!
After that, the real starters of the menu came. Each one of us had chosen different ones so we could taste as much as we could. The empanada was as good as the ones I had in Argentina and the tuna tartar was feesh and a nice mixture of flavours.
Next came the grilled meat. Everything tasted good and was cooked as they should. On the side came this corn pure that tasted good and was a companion to the meat (and that's a lot from someone who doesn't like corn).
After this visit I have been there again and chose the chuleton to share, with the fries and salad and they delivered again!
The meat is really good!
