Bloody mattress

At first site, this hotel is nice. However, there was a heavy layer of dust on all picture frames, mirrors, and counters. I reported an electrical issues with the bathroom lights. Over three hours passed and I reported the issue again. A "maintenance man" who appeared to be intoxicated arrived to address the issue but I sent home away (he wasn't wearing a company shirt and nothing to verify that he worked for the hotel. The front door had an electrical issue as well.

The mattress has spots of blood on the mattress. When I reported it to the front desk, she said "what do you want me to do about it?" I asked to speak to a manager, but there was no manager on duty. I asked to speak with the owner, but the owner was out of town. I asked for the owner phone number and was given a business card with the number to the front desk. I asked if the clerk would call the owner and she refused. She said I could check out if I wanted.

Filthy hotel, no maintenance, no management, no ability to fix simple situations. Stay away from this place.

We stayed at this location during the busy Memorial Day weekend. Since most of the hotels were booked, we decided to take a chance with this hotel. We understood that it was not a five star but we felt as long as the hotel was decent, clean, and met basic needs, we should be okay for two nights. Wrong!!!! When we arrived, the desk attendant was nice. The hotel lobby was not most silent than any hotel lobby we had ever been in. Another visitor made the same observation. When we arrived to our room, we walked in and immediately notice that the toilet seat had black electrical tape around a section of the seat. Also, the restroom had a urine smell. On Saturday, we went to the front desk attendant twice to complain about the toilet seat. From our point of view, it was very unsanitary to have a tape on a toilet seat. The hotel did not have a maintenance person on duty. I received a call from the front desk telling me that the maintenance person said the hotel did not have any toilet seats in stock. There was no manager on site. In addition to the issues with the restroom, there were no hangers in the closet and the television had only six or seven channels.The breakfast was minimum. We did not bother eating it. Since we felt the restroom was not clean, we purchased a disinfectant to clean the restroom ourselves. I left two messages for hotel management to give me a call, but I never received a call. For the holiday weekend, we paid a three to four star price and should have received better service.

The staff was friendly upon arrival. Other than that, nothing... not one thing.... nice to say about this place. Dog hair on carpet, moldy bathroom tiles, hair on bath floor, broken drawers, stained ceiling, dirty furniture. If we had a choice, we wouldn't have stayed.

Hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable, but it needs a total renovation! Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast is minimal - no hot food. Convenient to I-95. We were able to walk to several restaurants.

Served its purpose, but barely.

On our way to tent camping at Disney, we spent the night here for our half way point. The only positives I have is the front desk was pleasant and the beds were comfortable.

Negatives: the room clearly had not been vacuumed, the sheets were worn and had holes, there was so much furniture crammed into the room you couldn't move easily, only one bulb of four bulbs in the bathroom worked, the accent chair was filthy, the pillows were either hard as bricks or non-existent, and the appliances were old and noisy.

It honestly felt like the hotel had been bought and taken back a decade in the decor and fixtures and care. We won't be back.
