Came for a wedding
Angie Con 05/08/2017 22:19The resort is nice, its quiet at night. I didn't go in the pool at all, but I did go in the beach. The breakfast there is good. Lots of variety of foods for breakfast. Dinner was good too. Th rooms were nice and clean, just wish the front desk people were a little nicer.
Daytime is Great- Evenings are Frustrating
DMB42916on 04/08/2017 23:03Dinner with a family of 6 will take about 3 hours and you will not get even an appetizer until 2 hours in and then you'll get a rushed entree. The wait staff was running around noticeably frazzled. Unfortunately this resort only has 1 to 2 restaurants open at night and the resort is so far away that your options are limited. There is also no "nightlife" outside of dinner. Everything shuts down by 12pm. Do not go with a young group looking to party.
The resort was pretty and clean, but not breathtaking comparing to other islands I've been to (Bermuda, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Bora Bora).
Non-motorized waters sports are not included with room, even with all inclusive package. It was $25 per person for a few hours which was frustrating too.
Great place to stay in Curacao

Its a little far from the city but the location is worth
Amazing, relaxing family vacation
shanscheuron 03/08/2017 18:24We were looking for a place we could stay where we could eat good food, mom didn't have to be the "cruise director" and the kids would be sufficiently entertained without a bunch of prior planning. This place was it and didn't disappoint. We opted for the all inclusive option, but because we aren't big drinkers we may not go this route again. The food was delicious and varied and we didn't tire of the two main restaurants. Breakfasts were amazing! Paulene was always there with a good morning welcome. The rest of the day, we could always count on Shireeka, Missy, and Jaymy to bring us food or drinks with a smile. The kids had plenty to do- We consulted the activity schedule daily and chose what we wanted to do. The family went on the Historic Well tour with Redison and Maurice. These two were full of island information and so fun for us and our girls. This was probably the best activity we did while there. We also went on the Hidali Hike with Javier which was a lot of fun and provided wonderful views of the island. Our oldest daughter went on the Mountain Biking excursions and it wore her out, which is hard to do. Add in the iguana feeding, pool volleyball, beach soccer, snorkeling, paddle boarding, etc and we were never wanting for something to do. And when the sun got too much, we'd chill out in the shade of the resort great room, enjoying the palm trees, awesome breeze, and free wifi with a fruit smoothie. This place was perfect for our family - great food, beautiful setting, and plenty to do all on the resort. If you are looking for great night life, this is not the place for you because it's too long of a drive in to the city. But for our purpose, perfect. Now, if we can figure out another airline to use besides American Airlines, we plan to come back!
Paradise
Tamiko7749on 03/08/2017 18:11I have been at SBR many times. Me and my family always look forward and dream for when the days are here.
We enjoyed our stay and even prolonged it since we didn't want to go home
We had an awesome ocean view and were able to enjoy all the boats sailing in and out of the bay.
Thank you so much SBR team
