Very cosy, clean small hotel with beautiful view from balconies, very calm. For those who loves nature. We stayed in triple room with two balconies and liked absolutely everything in that place, bathroom also was very good and clean. And definitely good breakfast. We would return again!

We stayed here in Ramsau for two nights. Very nice place. We got a big room with terrace with nice view. We could even see The Eagle Nest. No dinner but very good breakfast. Nice staff. If you are around, take a guided trip to The Eagle Nest.

Very beautiful location, you can see the mountains from the window. The hotel is very clean and the beds are very confy. It is really a wonderful experience. We arrived here by car which was very easy to find with the GPS.

We arrived via train and bus, which is possible but not the best option. The bus, one way, from Berchtesgaden cost us 10euros for 3 people (yet only 15 for 3 to Salzburg...), then you must cross the street, cross the bridge, turn left and basically keep going straight until you go up a steeeeep hill. We found it but it was tiring!
The house is beautiful and the view makes up for the hike!! Our key was waiting for us in a baggie on the door, but a sweet lady greeted us and spoke to us in German. Luckily we speak basic German and were able to communicate, but I do NOT think she speaks English at all. She told us her daughter would be there in the morning, but her daughter does not speak English either but was easier to communicate with. We asked the older lady where we could eat, and she recommended a guest house near the bus stop, but we found it closed on a Thursday (a rest day). We were so confused, but walked up the hill into "town" and looked around. Eventually we found (after talking to a couple people walking dogs) a restaurant in a little residential area. It was fantastic and worth the 15-20 minute walk.
Anyway back to the hotel. The room was lovely, very modern and clean. Nice bathroom, wonderful balcony, but the beds were not my favorite. Because the older lady was sleeping when we came back from the restaurant (due to our long time spent looking for the place!), we did not learn about check out time, Internet, breakfast, etc which was frustrating. It would've been nice to have some information for us, like things to see, places to eat, a map, etc. Breakfast was good, and we decided to take a taxi back to Berchtesgaden which cost us 19.50euro, though the landlady said it would be 15. However it saved us from walking down the hill with our bags, waiting an hour for the bus (which comes hourly) and we got our connecting bus faster.
There was no shampoo or soap available in the bathroom, which I think should be included at a bed and breakfast. also the towels were not great. There was TV with maybe an English channel or two but we were too tired to watch. You can hear the rushing river at night and see fireflies from the porch :)

Excellent value and breath taking view. We arrived late around 8pm, and the hostess was standing outside to meet us. The room is large and beautifully decorated. You can see the mountain from the patio. Breakfast is also excellent. An unforgettable experience overall! Note: there is no elevator...
