Great Location - At Best, Uninspired Hotel
HonoluluJimon 17/08/2017 09:36The Hotel has a great location and view of Nakajima Park. Our check-in experience was absolutely impersonal and in no way friendly. Our Superior queen-bedded room was 240 Sq. Ft. and was less then comfortable. One side of the bed was pushed flush again a wall. The mattress was simply worn out on the side farthest from that wall, so it was sort of like sleeping with the center of your body in a modest hole. (I doubt that this is the only mattress in the hotel like this.) The carpet was old and not clean.We booked directly with the Hotel, and so I had hoped for something better. The hotel simply offered no courtesy. I did complain about the mattress to the hotel manager. I received an apology at checkout for the difficult night - nothing more.

If you're looking for a quiet adventure, Walking distance to Odori park, sapporo TV Tower and very close to Nakajima park. I love the hotel's entrance and the perfect ambiance. It's also near Susukino for party people out there!!!! A small chapel infront of the hotel makes it more special. From the reviews that i read before, i thought the rooms are tiny but actually it's just fine for a solo or couple traveller. Breakfast was amazing too and fresh! the staffs are very approachable from front desk- f&b, some are english speakers and they are nice! 4days was not enough to explore Sapporo but definitely will be back to this hotel.
Terrible hotel with a 5 star rating
VandanaTomodachion 12/07/2017 04:21This was the most terrible part of our wonderful Sapporo Visit in winters. Room was extremely small, with uncomfortable beds and outdated stinking linens. we had booked the hotel for a week and could not change the place. Room had a small window, giving a view of junkyard. A person may get fooled by the beautiful pictures, but this was the most outdated hotel I have stayed in Japan for this price. Traveling with my husband we had to sleep on two separate beds in spite of a request for a double room. Coming to room was just a formality to fulfill the sleep, there was nothing as relaxing atmosphere.
A 2-3 stars hotel NOT even 3 star
EPulse Gon 29/06/2017 03:12Do not fool by the spacious hotel lobby and location nearby Nakajima Park . This is by far not a full 3 stars hotel . Room is small , furnitures outdated . No coffee machine ,no electric kettle , no draws , very small closet , no space for open luggage , plastic shower head , prefab bathroom , less than 4 feet long bathtub , small working desk , small double bed ( one side is against the wall )
Reception : hardly understand English . Reception supervisor ( lady ) little better in English but quite rough .
Quality of Japanese breakfast is good but coffee cost additional Y 358 which is free in many other hotels i.e. Sapporo Grand Hotel . Sapporo Grand offers free coffee and Apple Pie as dessert for breakfast !

Shopping : need to take taxi or subway to down town big department stores such as Dimaru , Uniglo , Tokyu Department , Loft ...etc.
I stayed 4 nights but hotel only offered 2 bottles of water for my entire stay .
No freezer in the refrigerator .
Overall , I am disappointed at Sapporo Park Hotel . There are plenty of other hotels in Sapporo , better services and cheaper .
Good Hotel with Wonderful Winter Park
masahikoon 15/06/2017 12:30Sapporo Park Hotel which is located next to Nakajima Park... it was a White snow every where from the entrance of the main road that lead you to Hotel Lobby or side small road that walk through Nakajima Park.
The hotel is relative big with medium size of room.
Best park during winter, it is the exposure to fresh snow especially during snowy day and the day right after heavy snowfall.
Even within the hotel itself there are two places that fully cover with snow and such a good place for kids and adults to enjoy the snow and of course start your Snow Fight!
Room wise, it is relatively small but with all facilities given.
The best part of the room is being able to open the big window to feel the snow!
Highly recommended especially during Winter!
