Basic is the best description

My PA booked this hotel, I will be asking her not to in the future. Although the staff were pleasant the room was, how shall I describe it, Cell like, I am used to small rooms, but there was no water, no kettle, It was very basic, although the bed was comfy enough, it did not make up for the room. The reception 'shop' sold sweets, sodas and one type of sandwich hope you like cheese and ham. For a one night crash pad this is an ok hotel. It for any more there are others better

Exelent staf and the breakfast is to die for. beds and pillows are not as comfortable as they can be. Its nearby the trainstation so the location is god. The open area in the loby is nice. The bar had some local beers :)

Clean and Comfortable

The hotel room was clean and comfortable with super en suite. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Good choice of food for breakfast which included cooked and continental. Even better if there were tea / coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

Scandic Crown is in an ideal location - located next to the train station, tram line, bus stops and the Ullevi arena.

The hotel is lovely, very nicely decorated inside and the hotel staff are very friendly. Staff members had excellent English and upon arrival we were given all the information we needed about the various hotel services and main tourist areas. The receptionist also advised us re breakfast times as we were staying during peak season (July) and breakfast can be very busy from 9am.

The hotel seemed to have been designed with every traveller in mind, from kids to the more elderly. Food options also accommodated this. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with a huge variety on offer.

Rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The lift could only be used with a key card which was a great extra security feature.

Wi-fi was excellent, no connection problems. Staff very helpful re travel options, tourist areas, maps etc.

Definitely recommend!

Easy living

Nice hotel with a very good location close to the railway station and Ullevi arena, which was perfect for our stay. Nice restaurant with a buffet that suited the young family members, a busy bar and a very good breakfast!
Did not use the gym or sauna.
