The room was perfect and it was me and my kids (3 kids) that spent a night there. The location is perfect as well, close to transportations and to Liseberg and not far away from trains and busses. So i really reccomend scandic in molndal.

Very good located, closed to Liseberg. The room was very clean, modern and fresh. Breakfast could be improved, with fresh made dishes. Good environment for kids. Personal very friendly. Good bed. Parking closed to hotel.

The hotel location is good, easy to reach by car. The car park behind the hotel was ok and cheap. There was a grocery store and tram to the city centre nearby. The hotel staff was friendly and willing to help. The room was clean and quiet. On the first morning we decided to sleep late and had our breakfast at peak hour. That was a little disappointment, there were no clean plates/spoons/forks and some bowls were empty. Our kids also wanted to meet Sigge at 9.15 as informed but we never saw him. The next morning we were an hour earlier and then everything went well, breakfast was delicious and kids finally met Sigge.
We enjoyed our stay and this hotel can easily be recommended.

Best qualty for a group! Nice room and very modern style. Very good meal evry time.
Releax avd. at 6 floor was a suprice you can see the hole Göteborg in the horisont and even
west coast of Sweden.

Good location for business travellers by car

This hotel is, sorry to say, a typical Scandic hotel. The location is convenient for a business traveller, close to the main roads, but the hotel have a bit of a worn down look and feel. I have stayed at many Scandic hotels, and i get this feeling very often.

The rooms have an ok size, but the beds were not very comfortable and a bit old. Same goes for the room itself.

Breakfast was average, with nothing exciting or interesting in the buffet and with a very boring and standard presentation.

On the plus side, parking is good if you come by car, and the staff is very friendly and service minded.

I sincerely hope Scandic in general can work on their image and hotel standards, cause most often they have the best locations for my needs. But until then, Scandic Molndal will not be my first option..
