Stayed for 4 nights, and had a really good time! :-)
Beware of the clocktower at the city hall located next to the hotell, it gives a loud signal every 15 min from 08 to 00. :-)
Dont forget to hire a bike, its perfect for sightseeing.

I haven"t stayed at the hotel but when I was walking by, my last day in this beautiful city just popped in for quick lunch! I had one of the best steaks ever in my life! It was amazing and the waiting staff were so polite, helpful ...

Good location, but I expected a higher quality hotel. Room is OK, but sweltering. Again, breakfast just OK. If I return to Copenhagen, I would stay elsewhere even if higher priced.
I should add that staff here are very helpful, but the hotel just has a tired feel to it.

The Scandic Palace couldn't be situated better, being across the street from City Hall Square, a block from Tivoli, and a few yards from the main shopping street. Good restaurants like Tight are nearby. Many of the rooms have real charm: For example, Room 429 overlooks two beautiful towers; when the large windows are open on a nice day, it's absolutely delightful. And I could see the Tivoli fireworks over one one the towers! The beds and comforters are comfortable, and the room has all the conveniences you'd want. But the carpet wasn't vacuumed the entire time I was there (one week), and the chair was so grungy that I put towels on it before sitting. These are minor, correctable problems, though, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic hotel. Pricey during peak season. Excellent central city location. One block to Tivoli. Can walk almost everywhere. Wonderful courteous friendly staff. Very helpful with information on getting around city. Quick to respond to requests. Clean. Nice size rooms. No drawer storage. Sink very small. Watch out for corners on wood bed frames. Unlike USA no top sheet under feather comforter. Great breakfast. Full buffet. Restaurant staff also great. Stored bags after checkout until cruise departure. Large elevators.
