Nice hotel
Francis Mon 15/04/2017 15:03We came here for a friend's wedding, and had a great time: the hotel is big and the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, and so were the meals. We were there on winter, and I imagine it is a great hotel for ski lovers.
wonderful stay, snow dream
Chen Xon 18/03/2017 22:36Stayed here for several days, had wonderful experience. Staff are very friendly, room is very comfortable. It feels like traveling back in time, the historic sensation can be found everywhere else. The sunny terrace is very relaxing. The paranoma restaurant is very good, even a regular tomato source pasta tastes better (though somewhat expensive, but it is Switzerland, so it is kind of expected). They had many flavors of ice creams. Breakfast is luxury, bread, egg, coffee, bacon, sausage. This hotel is also very kids friendly. My daughter had a blast with the staff, and the snow.
Overall, wonderful experience, would definitely recommend.
Enjoy a sense of history and a magical setting
kath097on 16/03/2017 21:43I will remember every moment of my stay at this unique historic hotel which has recently starred in the film 'Youth' with Michael Caine. My husband and I chose to stay here as part of a wonderful holiday exploring Switzerland by rail. The journey up to the Schatzalp Hotel begins with a ride on the funicular Schatzalp Bahn which runs frequently from Davos up 300 metres of steep mountainside to the elegant peach-coloured hotel buildings complex clustered on a high terrace where two hours more sunshine can be enjoyed every day than in the town below. Little of the artistic decor has changed from when the hotel was built at the end of the nineteenth century and you can wander along wide bookcase-lined corridors, descend to dinner in an old-fashioned lift or listen to a pianist in the ballroom, whilst soaking up the sense of history. The setting is picturesque, the rooms simple but warm and comfortable and the service charming and courteous. We ate dinner at the Schatzalp's panoramic restaurant which has a lovely mountain hut atmosphere and offers truly superb food. You can ski or sledge from the hotel; we simply relished the delightful setting of glittering mountains and snow-laden forests. There is no television in the hotel but with so much of interest to look at and explore we certainly wouldn't have wanted it.

Milán Pon 23/01/2017 22:25We've been on a two days conference with my colleague in Davos. The dinner in Schatzalp was excellent. Best catered food I've ever had. The staff is superb, kind and polite. Everything was organized therefore we had a fast service.
Charming, good service and no tv
7Septemberon 21/01/2017 16:18A typical well kept and clean Swiss hotel with a magnificent view, maybe the rooms would need to be upgraded but at this price you should provide tv.
The staff at the reception were very helpful and caring.
