very nicely located hotel in vineyard, historic place
Uli_Germanyon 02/02/2017 11:00The stay at Schloss Edesheim was enjoyable. We had two rooms. The Maximilian suite and a reglular double room. The regular room was clean and nice, but not very special, however the Maximilian suite is phantastic with own balcony and very large room. Breakfast room quite small, but if you are in a historic place, you have to adopt to the place and it is nice to see that the historic substance has been kept as much as possible.
Peace and quite in German quality
Niels Kon 21/05/2016 09:46This castle hotel in the middle of their own wineyards offer really quality facilities. Rooms, meeting facilities, restaurant etc. is put together in a extremely nice way with a lot of respect for the original castle.
It is not too big which also gives quite a personal feeling and the staff is really flexible in accomodating all ind of request.

Sahara Kon 12/09/2015 10:37It really was as promised. We loved the garden, the walk up to the Castle, breakfast and of course the excellent Dinner in this amazing room.
Unfortunately the Wifi did not really work out so well, other than that - Great treat!

Blair Fon 14/12/2014 18:17We booked one night here on the way to Switzerland. What a beautiful schloss! We felt like the Baron and Baroness! We booked with half board and had a private table with a personal server for dinner. The food was amazing as well. The European breakfast was delightful. The gardens, fountains and the view of the vineyards from our room was inspiring. The Maxilillian suite was incredible. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Nice Hotel
Mallesh Pon 27/06/2014 19:03Was here for a conference. Also, got somehow upgraded to the maximilian suite. So i'm very biased---the room was spectacular. Indeed the bathroom was larger than the average room i stay in when visiting Europe. So really, this was amazing. My colleagues' rooms looked pretty serviceable too, though the non-suites were more standard European sized rooms.
On the upsides, the food was good, the grounds were picturesque, the service staff were friendly, cordial and efficient. Mostly made for a great stay. On the downside, the (free) wifi could be spotty, and didn't always have excellent coverage.
Didn't get to sample it very much but there were tons of beer and wine gardens all around town. Seems like a nice quaint town.
